archive(dot)org is supposed to be a site with just public domain material. but in actuality, people upload anything, and on rare occasions, the material or account is removed. It's free and very safe, and alternative to uploading video to YouTube which is often removed immediately because of pre-set copyright claims. I use minimum description tags, so people only find my videos if they look for them specifically.

Most of my F1 uploads have been Xvid .avi file type, AKA CINEPACK. Those are 'download only'. The online viewer only plays .mp4 video file types, so the site automatically generates an .mp4 version, if a different video format is uploaded.

I upload files once, and all download bandwidth comes from the site, so it doesn't affect me at all if there are many views/ downloads.

Because large files sometimes freeze temporarily while buffering, for anyone who just wants to see the videos in the best resolution, downloading the CINEPACK and then recycling the file after viewing is probably the best option.

I think the 'onboard' races were only broadcast for a few years. For the last few I have in 2012, the first 2-3 laps aren't available, so I probably won't upload those.

In the 2010 European Grand Prix, about 19 minutes in, the capper was following Mark Webber when he hit Heikki Kovalainen and went airborn:

Why wouldn't Merc sign him?
Williams must have opened the vault for Carlos. Big step down.
I think Merc was hoping to lure Max away from RedBull, not so sure that Kimi Antonelli is ready for that seat, CS would have been the smart choice IMHO.
Not sure if it’s true or not but apparently CS has an out clause in his Williams contract that he can basically walk away if he’s offered a Merc or RedBull seat but I don’t see him going to RB if Max is still there.
I guess he didn’t like what Audi was offering and Alpine is a shit show so no reason to sign there.

The Williams team has a long standing tradition of paying their drivers as little as possible. Frank Williams cared about two of his drivers - Piers Courage and Alan Jones. Frank cared a lot about the Constructors' Championship, but he had no interest in the Driver's Championship. This is why four of Williams' Driver's World Champions in the 1980's and 90's, (Nelson Piquet, Nigel Mansell, Alain Prost and Damon Hill), didn't drive the #1 car for Williams - Piquet signed with Lotus, Mansell moved to CART, Prost retired and Hill went to Arrows.

Williams usually has had one salaried driver and one who pays for his ride, like at Brabham under Bernie Ecclestone, with Nelson Piquet and a series of bums, (Hector Rebaque, Teo and Corrado Fabi...). Ricardo Patrese drove for both Brabham and Williams, but he was always a 'contractual number 2' driver, and serviceable in that role, (think: Rubens Barichello as Michael Schumacher's bitch at Ferrari).

Williams drivers who paid for their Williams F1 seat since 2007, (at least initially), include Alexander Wurz, Kazuki Nakajima, Nico Hulkenberg, Pastor Maldonado, Bruno Senna, Valtteri Bottas, Lance Stroll, Sergey Sirotkin, Nicholas Latifi and Logan Sargeant.

Frank didn't care about the drivers championship because it's the constructors championship that paid the bills. The difference between each place in the standings is millions of dollars.

Might as well get it out of the way first!
lol that has to be embarrassing but the kid did show some real speed, at least in the 10 minutes he was on the track. Solid if unremarkable first day for Colapinto as well, have to wait and see how he handles the actual race.
