I knew Spain was going to win against Germany but they under performed, they usually do better. But Germany played good. The only thing is now with the red card for Carvalho and the yellow cards, I don't know how well Spain is going to do.
I fully agree, I don't like this referee. Kroos should've been kicked out. he killed that kid, they had to pull him.How is that not 2 yellows for Kroos??!!
Exactly went as I thought it would. Its too bad Spain and Germany had to matchup in the quarters but that was a close exciting game. I had a tee time so didn't see the France/Portugal match and I'm glad I didn't waste my time.
Today I like England to somehow sneak out a victory against a tough Swiss squad that looked so dominant in their victory over Italy.
I also think the Dutch will move on against the Turks despite the pro Turkish crowd expected in Berlin. I'm looking forward to seeing that.

i like the swiss today. england very fortunate to go thru last round. turkey will give holland a game, i think it goes to xtra time.
Wouldn't call it fortune, they have a lot of talent at every position but not the greatest coach,
they just won the PK shoot-outs and scored 5 well taken pk's.
Lucky that England squeezed thru today, Switzerland played very well, these penalty shots must be traumatizing on the players that miss. They may never forget it.

The Swiss were such a disciplined team, it came down to a shitty penalty by Akanji, it looked like a pass.
Ivan Toney's pk was the definition of cool you gotta watch it in slow motion, he wasn't even looking at the ball.

Remember Bukayo Saka at the previous Euros when he missed the penalty against Italy and knuckle heads rained racist abuses on him. Well, he scored the equalizer today and cooly converted his penalty. Where are the racists now?

The Turks came close but kudos to Verbruggen. The Dutch could have scored more had they kept their shots low on target,
I must have counted 4 shots on goal that went up too high.
I find Havertz creepy, he never smiles and always serious. Even when he scores he doesn't smile.
