Based on stats we deserved the win.
Based on how we usually play vs. how we played last night, we didnt deserve it
Agreed. The Dutch played poorly, the vaunted defense was beaten over and over by the quickness of the Turkish attack. Still sheer talent got them the ultimate victory. Also don't forget the Dutch are playing without two of their best players in de Jong and Koopmeiners.
What else did you expect from the racists? that being said I didn't like his pk shot at all lol
The best pk's were taken by Trent and Shaqiri, both combined power and accuracy.
On the other hand, this guy has a cool but weird style, I don't know if his no-look pk will ever catch on,
Sommer guessed right but Toney shot it with enough power.
I teach my kids that PK, just like the majority of goals in soccer, should simply be a hard pass in the net.

They played very well, they were passing the ball around like the Brazilians of the past, dribbling. I thought the French did well the first 20 minutes, but this Spanish team are tenacious, they don't give up. The goal from the 16 year old was great.
The German fans whistled Cucarella, that was childish and should've stopped, but they're children.
But looking at the radar this morning it looks like it might miss Toronto altogether

Just a warm up. The worst fans are always the Dutch and english. Italians will be racist but rarely violent. Croatians are often bad too.
the french. Spanish and germains are usually quite ok. Might be the fact they win often.
