The fix is in, the Bruins will win the president's trophy and the Stanley Cup and the Hawks will win the draft lottery. The Leafs will get screwed by a questionable call by a ref and another 1st round exit.

I went back and looked yes that is probably the best trade the Leafs have made in the past 5 years. The worst is probably giving up Mason Marchment to FLA for Denis Malgin back in Feb 2020. Dubas doesn't have a good trading track record, much like those idiots with the Jays.
Clearly, the Eastern Conference is the strongest of the two. Top 6 teams are from the Eastern Conference.

LA Kings are -1 goal differential yet they are 2 pts out of first place in the Conference.

I think the reaction from the media has been mostly positive in that they agree that the team is better in terms of overall grit and much better depth for the bottom 6 forwards. I think they're pretty strong up the middle especially if O'Reilly goes to the 3rd line and #91 goes back to centre. I heard that Keefe might experiment with that before the playoffs.
Whether it's enough has yet to be seen.

I was watching the Bruin game last night and the talking heads were comparing the Bruins to the 1976-77 Canadiens. That is high praise when one considers:
"Nine future Hockey Hall of Famers were part of that Canadiens team, 11 if you include general manager Sam Pollock and coach Scotty Bowman."

The Bruins are a unique team. Other than Patrice Bergeron who has won a bunch of Frank J. Selke (aka Bob Gainey) trophies, very few Bruins win individual awards. Their last Hart Trophy winner was in 1972.

I’ll take a stab at that:
Very likely: Bergeron and Marchand.
On course: Pastrnak.
Early, but looking promising: McEvoy.
Longshot: Hall (Hart Trophy winner).
I think Hall is a really long shot.

I know Marchand may have been one of the best Bruins, but I don't think he's "very likely" going to the HOF, like Bergeron is.
His career stats are good but not outstanding. He's 34, on the downside of his career and probably losing Bergeron, who is the main reason his totals are where they are, very soon. He has a total of 0 awards.
