Sandro Tonali is now officially an AC Milan player, they scheduled his physical last Friday and was unavailable to play for The Azzurri.

I want to see what he can bring to The Aquamarine, but who do you take out? I was surprised to see Nico Barella as a trequartista, that's not his role with Inter. More than likely Fredi Chiesa will play in that position against Poland.

Bayern Munich 8 - 0 Schalke 04. The Bundesliga title chase is over already.
Bayern has to be the strongest team in Europe nowadays, they were all over Schalke. I don't think no team in Europe can beat them.

Is Bayern Munich dirty?

Don't they get tested for steroids or drugs ? I think they would want to take something for stamina rather than bulk up. I guess they weren't testing during Maradona's times, he's known to be a coke head.

Is Andrea Pirlo doing Wales a favour?

When he took over Juve, he submitted a list of players surplus to requirements, among them was Aaron Ramsey. Due to his salary and injury problems no other big club picked him up. Instead of casting him to the Styx, Pirlo decides to mold him in his image. Obviously Ramsey isn't durable enough to play the trequartista role but he can extend his career as a deep threat. He did some nice things against Sampdoria including setting CR7's goal.

Messi needs to stop whining.
All players eventually go downhill and are sold or they retire.
There's no escaping that

Amazing how times change, Messi hated The Great Zlatanissimo, now the Bosniak Swede is laughing best.

Like Kawhi, he just wanted to go home, LA was too chaotic for him. He's kept a home in Milano for the past 8 years and now he's getting to be the wise mentor to two potential young superstars. Rafael Leao is in quarantine but asymptomatic. Lorenzo Colombo reminds old timers of Gigi Riva. He scored in the Europa League subbing for Ibra.

Everything appears to be going The Great Zlatanissimo's way.

Just watched Papu Gomez of Atalanta rip apart Lazio. And I wondered how Messi, Icardi, di Maria, Martinez, Papu Gomez and several more great Argentina talents have never been able to win anything with their national team. Strange
Maybe because Maradona was such a greatness on the field but mentally destroyed every Argentinian team since his retirement? He is always around... Always a fucking distraction...

Watched Bayern- Dortmund the other day great game. I thought Bayern was going to kill them but dortmund was tenacious and came back in the second period 2-2 but then Bayern was ablwe to sneak one in. Kingsley Coman is a work horse kept attacking non stop.

That's just part of the problem. The country is stuck in a cultural rut even though the official language is Spanish. In 1978 the Italians prevailed, the team was coached by Cesar Menotti with Daniel Passarella as the captain. In 1986, the team was not considered a threat by either side of the cultural divide, Maradona who has native blood was considered an outsider. He had only recently moved to Napoli from Barcelona.

Italy understands diplomacy. Moldova is a poor country put to the thumbscrews by Putin, they are enjoying their time in Florence.

Bryan Cristante became the first Canadian to score for the Azzurri.

Canada is one of the only Nations that does not have any coverage of tomorrow's European nations League matches on TV. We have TSN, Sportsnet, BEIN, online on DAZN, but none of them with any rights to any of those fixtures. Even the USA has ESPN+ streaming those games. Apparently if you have a VPN, then you can subscribe to their matches. Currently, the only Soccer games being broadcast and replayed several times are just the a couple of Ladies Premier Division Matches.

Any info how to watch these Euro nations League fixtures as Germany will be taking on Switzerland, and the other big game is Ukraine vs Spain? On Wednesday it will be England vs Denmark and Italy vs The Netherlands.
