The Toronto press nearly jinxed us with their 2001 comparison. They was enough bricklaying to almost make that a reality. When you go cold on 3pts shots most of the time you're packing your bags but Kawhi (speak softly and carry a big shot) wasn't about to let that happen.

Can I consider myself a dedicated basketball fan? I passed on GoTs to watch G7...and finally watch Inside the NBA on the home theater. You better not shout, you better not cry, you better not pout I'm telling you why...

...Shaq and Chuck are comin to town!

I was at the game last night wow what an atmosphere. Loudest I've ever heard it, the crowd was jacked. And we went home very happy!
Takeaways from this series

Toronto shot 29.8% from beyond the arc. Many of those were wide open shots. That's gotta get better or its Bucks in 5 or 6.
We can't keep on relying on Leonard and Siakam to be our main scorers. Secondary scoring needs to come from Lowry(13.1), Ibaka(8.7), Gasol(8.7) and Green(8.7).
The bench needs to step up. Van Vleet was friggin horrible shooting this series. 12.5% on 3 for 24 shooting. Need more minutes from Powell.
Relish the day but back to the grind tomorrow. 8 more wins.

Ibaka came out big last night...rebounds and those 3pt shots...Siakam did a lot on the rebound and defensive end. We need those too if he isn't as productive offensively. Lowry was all hustle. Gasol did quite good on Embiid...Kawhi can have a lousy 1-3rd quarter but we all know he's going to deliver when it counts...Him and Jimmy Butler are sleepers and are made for big shots....

Not sure what your going on about here. No chance the Bucks sweep either of these teams. Yes, the Raps have had some bad games, but they've had some extremely dominant ones. Gasol has played amazing defense, especially against Embiid who's probably the best big man in the NBA.

Typical Toronto sports fan. One of the best teams in the NBA, steam rolled over the Magic who was one of the best teams in the second half, and in a 3-3 tie with a very talented 76ers team, but yet your banking on them getting swept if they beat the 76ers on sunday. Un-fucking real. Let me guess, you probably think Vlad Jr. Is a flop right? God knows two weeks is a sufficient time to see if he's the real deal.

Leafs win one game, lets plan the parade route, they lose one, tear the whole thing up and start from scratch. Toronto sports fans kill me.
Well I'm not sure how much better the Raptors are than Boston? Boston just lost 4 straight and you can't fathom us getting swept? Middleton was hitting 3 pointers over Tatum like they were free throws. Boston's defense isn't petty by any means. Milwaukee scored 123, 123, 113 and 116 points. We were 1 and 3 against the Bucks this season. We have no inside game other than Kawhi. We rely on outside shooting that has vanished in the playoffs. And our guys have become deer in headlights with wide open shots. This does not look like a championship team. They will have to drastically change to compete with the Bucks.
If you think winning a few games straight at the end of the season somehow Orlando a juggernaut, than good for you. I am not a typical Toronto Sports fan. I'd like no better than the Raptors making this a competitive series. But when you watch them play like crap for an entire series against another team that played worse, and think you have a chance against the Bucks playing like that or maybe you have delusions of beating Golden State or Houston, then go ahead and dream big. I guess anything is possible. The Bucks haven't let their guard down all season. They beat Detroit in 4 too. They let one game go in this playoffs so far. That's it. Yeah we had a few bad games? Well let me explain something. A few bad games gets you eliminated in 4. WE had a few bad games against a inferior teams. But I hope you're right. I hope I'm just a typical Toronto sports fan.

They choke game 7,Kawhi dips July 1st and Craptors are back to mediocrity for the next 3-7 years, just like the NBA want.
Garbage mental midget players league
They swallowed hard but didn't choke? Hope you are wrong about Kawhi too. First time I have ever seen emotion from him was after that buzzer beater fell last night. If the Raps play as they did for a good portion of the second round they won't last long against the Bucks.

Toronto is one of the best teams in the NBA. It's hard to sweep any team in 4, little loan one the best teams in the NBA. I'm simply saying, I'd bet my whole salary (which isn't very much) that this series isn't done in 4. My guess is it goes at least 6. To say either one of these teams was going to get swept is a pretty ridiculous and bold prediction. BTW, Orlando didn't just win a few games at the end of the season. They were one of the best teams in the second half of the season.

Boston is a dysfunctional team and still didn't get swept so I wouldn't expect the Raptors to do so with the hottest player this playoff. I'm not sure if the raps can come out on top with the way they played this series but 4-0 doesn't sound realistic.

The Bucks have the MVP and an amazing coach. The team has also bought into a system that works for them but lets not forget that the raps are also a top 5 or 6 team in pretty much every metric as well. I'm not happy with the lack of ball movement from the Raptors this series but they have all the pieces needed to make a series out of this.

It looks like OG is still out indefinitely, the optimistic prognosis was that he would be back for game 3. The kid has hard luck, you can't rush an appendectomy.

A question for those more knowledgeable than myself: who's the better player, Kevin Durant or Giannis?

Probably Durant is all-around better at this point. Just because Durant has a better jumpshot and is more established in the NBA. Giannis is younger though and has time on his side to get even better. Even Magic Johnson predicted that Giannis will eventually bring a championship to Milwaukee.

Hope Kawhi stays in Toronto. He is much safer (no guarantees) here than in a large (or small) American city.

With the possible exception of Inside the NBA, this is why Tim and Sid destroys all the American sports talk shows.

There was a segment on that episode of Tim & Sid that showed Kawhai's Uncle embracing Masia Ujiri, George Cope, Larry Tanenbaum and Joe Natale. Just maybe that shot transformed Kawhai from being a player on the Raptors Team to a Raptor!

They've been saying for a while now he's out until the finals if they make it that far so I'm not sure where your getting your info from.

While watching Kawai on replays my thoughts were the shot and the moment may be the positive decision maker. As you watch the finals you realize how good he is and how much he means to the team and the franchise. The emotion was real and it wasn't selfish. My belief is the Raps chances of retaining him have increased substantially, while not a done deal but there is a decent chance he may be back.

We can definitely make a case to him for staying, both monetarily and comfort. I believe I saw a clip of him walking away from practice arm and arm with Alex Mckechnie the head of sports science. It too was a feel good moment. But at the end we've had our fair share of Toronto boys choose to come home to the TMLs, and their may well be plenty more feel good family reasons for Kawhi to go home to L.A.

It was reported by Jay and Dan that chances were good OG would return for Game 3. I shoud know better than to trust a coupla idiots who got beat up by a girl.

Two factors that may sway Kawhi decision. He's not 100%, he told Serge on The Mafuzzy Chef that his family is from Cape Town. He also told Serge that he wants to return in the summer for Caribana, there's nothing like that in SoCal.

Canada hater, Stephen A Smith must be devastated. He was shilling for the Knicks to get the No.1 pick.

Speculation that KD's calf strain is really a partially ruptured Achilles would rule him out.

Both healthy, I think KD has the advantage as he can more easily create his own shots.
