The Raps are not making the open shots they normally make. I also didnt like how Nurse started the the 4th in game 3 without Kawhi, he was hot and started to take control, Nurse shouldve let him ride it out since its a 2 day rest, he needs to understand there is a chance Kawhi is not coming back so use him or you will never get a chance again
Coach Nurse is getting out-couched in this series, but Kawhi can not play the entire second half, even if he started the 4th quarter, eventually he would have needed a rest. At the end of the day, Lowry, Gasol and the bench players have do a better job, it is easy to blame the coach.

Don't agree with that. There is no way for a coach to adjust for their entire bench and many of their starters not hitting the shots they normally make. Philly made some smart match-up changes and defensive adjustments for game 2 that slowed down Kawhi at the start of the game but he clearly figured it out by partway through the second quarter. More importantly, it is easy to slow a superstar if you don't have to worry about the rest of the team.

My only complaint is the reduced emphasis on ball movement which results in players spending too much time watching the iso (like in VC days). Maybe the other players would heat up if they got more touches but it's hard to go to them in a playoff game when they aren't producing.

p.s. I also disagree with the analysts who blame the loss on the raps trading away their depth for Gasol. The same bench has been producing up until this week.

Pascal Siakam is doubtful for tomorrow's game. Looks like an easy win for the Sixers tomorrow. Disappointing series.

I can't see Kawai committing to the Raptors long term. Hope I am wrong.

Saw the interview, he says sore but not as sore as yesterday soooooooo who knows?
Agree with you if the Raps don't look like a team with the opportunity to win it all, Leonard is gone. At the moment him I would color him gone!

The bench has not performed at the rate it did last year. Main reason is Pascal is now a starter.

Jeremy Lin sucked ever since he got here, FVV was a stud all year long, and now your going to pull the carpet from him because he's in slump?. Typical Toronto sports fan. Hit the panic button and do something erratic when the water gets a little rough. You don't go away from what got you to the dance at this point in the season. That's just stupid. I would bank on FVV having stronger performances for the rest of series. No chance Nick Nurse has plans using Jeremey Lin in any significant capacity and rightfully so. Maybe give Norman Powell a bit more minutes since he's faired a tiny bit better until FVV gets out this. The fucking team sucked yesterday other than Leonard so no point in isolating this to the bench. The whole team has to be better.
Im not saying to bench FVV. My thought is to play Lin and FVV together. Perhaps have Lin run the point. That said there is lots of fans freaking out after game 3. Im not one of them. Im confident todays game will be much more competitive!! Lets Go Raps!!!

With the exception of an injury, Jeremy Lin will not see the floor these playoffs and for good reason.

So where are the folks who said I knew nothing about basketball. I said Jamal Murray is a better player than Andrew Wiggins, I took the flames.

From what I saw in the Commonwealth Games, there was no question Murray would be a star in the NBA. Correct me if I'm wrong, has Wiggins ever played for Canada?

Outside of Ibaka the bench is a mess.. Pardon the pun its (L)insanity to keep sending fvv and powell out there looking for a different outcome / result. Philly takes advantage of this.. Imho thats a Dwayne casey move.

Dwayne Casey the Pistons coach whose team beat the Raptors 3 times in 3 tries, that Dwayne Casey? Casey may be the best defensive coach in the league.
Any chance the trade for Gasol left the bench too thin? JV, and Wright were an integral part of the bench. OG is still off and he is another piece that is missing. The bench is now thin and the weaknesses are showing.

The Raps will win the series in 6 if their next game had a better average in hitting 3's. If Raps able to make more 3's in game 5 and win, then they force the 76ers to adjust for gm6. That is when you go inside especially Gasol when the series goes back to Philli. Sounds simple,eh? LOL
I just feel that the reason Phil is still around because once the Raps missing the 3s it is easier for the 76ers to make a transition game. I don't have games stats with me but I am pretty sure that what was happened in game 4. 76ers grabbed the rebound after a miss 3's by the raptors and went the other way with easy baskets on the Raps.

other than Kawhi, the 76ers are shooting much better than the Raps. Their back court is 6'8" and 6'4" and both score and defend better than Lowry and FVV(at 6'1" and 5'11"). Danny Green had a bad shooting game 2 but they also don't seem to be working to get him more looks. When Siakam isn't feeling it beyond the 3point line, Ibaka is aweful there, and if Lowry is tentative, its ugly to see open looks passed on so often. Every 76er seems to be able to hit their open shots.

The emphasis is too much on Kawhi dominating the ball handling. Having said that if he has to score 40 the next two games and we get anything reasonable from everyone else then we win the series.

I gotta think the team shooting improves tomorrow night in Toronto.
