IV, stick to football.. just kidding, man! Understand all those who see the skills and fire in a Jimmy B but the Disruptor, as good as he is, will be an annoyance for the next year as he heads into free agency. And since we already have one of those in that category, two would be downright suicide. Looking at it as glass half full, if somehow the jelling dawg anticipates doesn't happen trading these two at trade deadline will bring back way less than whatever we would have spent to get them. At least the Kawhi trade didn't hurt us that much talent wise (Poeltl will be solid NBAer and DD will still be an Allstar) as we got an elite talent for good talent and Danny is a pro. For Butler, we would lose talent for sure (OG or Siakam) that may be as talented as Butler in the long run. Yes, Kawhi's quiet but generally he's still a team man. JButts, on the other hand, with the Bulls and Wolves has been a very vocal aggressor to teammates and team. Not sure who he'll fit in with but I'd rather have another group deal with that. This Rap group is still a work in progress but this fifteen has a lot of mojo going for it and can have a great chance to be a true contender. Yes JButts would be an addition talent wise but from a team dynamic this is not the group for him. But if we can get him for near nothing go for it! :very_drunk:
We'll know soon enuff beginning Wednesday what this current group is made of. My glass half full says this team fills me with optimism and excitement to se what they can do. I expect some real good things from this fifteen as we start. There's generational talent (Kawhi) for the first time (some say since Carter, I say for the first time!), all star supporting cast, strong bench, offensive oriented coach and still the best arena in the league. So, bring it on and let the ball bounce where it may! Let's go Raptors!!
