again I watched parts of the game, second quarter was kick ass with the starters playing, 3rd quarter with the bench playing was awful. OG has yet to play, he is off for "personal" reason(s). KLO looks ready and is busting his tail. Leonard still getting the rust off but looks better all the time. JV is ready, looking real good.

Our starters looked good against Utah starters. Remember Utah was a feared team in last years playoffs. Overall our 3 point shooting isn't hitting yet. We may have lost some chemistry in the second lineup in the old Wright-Poetl - Siakam grouping. But that's what the pre season is all about. We know we can put a very effective starting line up in there.(defensively no doubt, and pretty sure the offense is there too) Now to figure out the second line or substitution pattern.
Well I don't know..... but he was away with the team's approval. No reason to speculate, if he or the team think we should know they will tell us.
I'm surprised some hack reporter hasn't tried to contact a family member for information.

At this point, I have no idea how they will be. Too many unknowns: Nurse Leonard Bench all could be great or busts. Have yet to see OG play and find out if his shooting has improved, we expect his D to be fine. JV looks ready, will Ibaka look like he is worth his salary? 3 point shooting so far has been dismal need to see a number of players start to hit from outside with some consistency. My expectation is, it maybe January before the team jells.
So far have seen some good and some problems. That game against the Aussies proved nothing except maybe Powell is kick ass good against a mediocre team. I hope it was a confidence builder for him but only time will tell. Nets next, might tell us something if they play the regulars for at least 40 min.
Rumor has it POP has no interest in kyle Lowry. Raps are gaurd rich. What type of trade would you propose?
If we can instill some stifling defense this year, then we might pull it off. There is still a chance Ujiri pulls another trade, and it will have to be for some more proven scoring. Otherwise I agree; it will be tough to break 1st 2nd or 3rd. A healthy Kyrie Irving will make Boston and beast in the East. And I agree Philly and Indiana should both be trouble too.

By Xmas,Pop may change his mind if his team, especially DD struggled big time. Lowry's a dead weight at $30mil this season. Not sure how Masai can move him during the season.
Klo eh, too popy for my taste. I'm taking a real liking to Kawhi, much more than I ever did for Demar. I like his style, speak softly and carry a big game. I'll be more watching more Raptors games this year.

I would love to see Jimmy Butler in a Raps uniform. Not a bad idea. Lowry can go suck his thumb with Bullwinkle.
If you saw the interview with Butler last night, you probably don't want him, as good as he is he will poison the locker room. He is likely one and done as he is UFA next year. After what I saw last night think Thibedeau will send him almost anywhere for almost anything.
KLo got tossed last night for whining. He deserved to go! He was not having a good game which may have been the reason for the attitude. Hope that was a one and done thing too, hope Nurse and Masai have a conversation with him. Raps third Q without him was kick ass, best he take note! Lorenzo Brown looking like an NBAer!
I thought Thibodeau brought him in from Chicago where both of them were existed at one point. I think Butler can play for his coach but not the Wolves' manager.
