I'm going to counter your Putinocalypse prediction with another: He wants the rest of Ukraine about as much as he wants Boise, Idaho. He took the plum bits when he took the Crimea, so the fucker is happy enough. Sure, some nationalist Russian nutbars will keep stirring the shit in eastern Ukraine, but unlike with the Crimea, they won't get any substantial support from Putin (the more of them that die in vain for their cause, the fewer armed nutbars he has to worry about on the home front).
