Jimmy Archer: The Dublin-born Toronto-raised catcher is the only Canadian to lose two World Series _ with Detroit in 1907, and the Chicago Cubs in 1910. A career .143 hitter in 14 post-season at-bats.
Rob Butler: Won a World Series title with his home-town Toronto Blue Jays in 1993. The last Canadian player to appear in the championship before this season.
Reggie Cleveland: The native of Swift Current, Sask, lost his only start as the Red Sox fell to Cincinnati in the 1975 World Series. Finished with 105 career wins.
George Gibson: A native of London, Ont., he caught Pittsburgh's first World Series championship in 1909. Batted .240 with two RBI in 25 playoff at-bats.
Jack Graney: Born in St. Thomas, Ont., he won a title with the Cleveland Indians in 1920. Went hitless in three at-bats in the Indians' seven-game victory over Brooklyn.
John Hiller: The Toronto-born left-hander won a championship with the 1968 Detroit Tigers. Had a 13.50 ERA in two World Series appearances.
Bill O'Neill: The Saint John, N.B., native was a part of the Series-winning Chicago White Sox in 1906. Scored a run in his only playoff at-bat.
Johnny Rutherford: Born in Belleville, Ont., he reached the World Series in his only season in the majors. Appeared in one game for the 1952 Brooklyn Dodgers, who lost to the New York Yankees in seven games.
George Selkirk: The Huntsville, Ont., native won five World Series titles as an outfielder with the Yankees (1936-39, 1942). Finished with two home runs and 12 RBI in 38 career World Series games, tops among Canadians.
Ron Taylor: A Toronto native, he won championships as a reliever with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1964 and the New York Mets in 1969. Did not allow a run in 10 1/3 career post-season innings.

FYI, Rob Ducey didn't play in a World Series:
He was traded July 30, 1992 by the Blue Jays with Greg Myers to the California Angels for Mark Eichhorn. Ducey signed as a free agent with Texas in the off-season and played the 1993 season with the Rangers.
