Seems like you’re fishing for a chance to be outraged.

Are you also upset that describing central and SE asians as “yellow” or indigenous people as “red” has fallen out of style?

I mean, it seems like we should be accurate when describing skin tone of suspects in crimes such as these.

Personally, “light” or “fair” narrows down potential suspects greatly.

Sure, “black” could be used to describe the skin tone of these two fellas, but I’m sure we can do better than that.

I'm pretty sure hardly anyone knows the difference between fair and light. And I've never seen someone classified as "medium" skin colour.

Brown and dark are also subjective, and can be swapped. If someone sees a very dark Indian person, they may just say Brown, even if their colour is darker than a Black person. For example in that picture, I think the Brown girl has darker skin than the Dark girl. Excluding the shiny lighting, I think the Brown girl has a darker chocolate skin tone than the Dark girl.

Probably the one box in that image that is most consistent is Olive, which most people should interpret as that tanned Mediterrean kind of look.

I doubt this is a Pakistani crime, they've never done anything of this nature before. And the restaurant is named Bombay not Karachi. Bombay Bahel has three locations, the other two are in Streetsville and Oakville.

It may well be a terrorist issue but not of the kind most people think. The only Indian group that has done bombings in Canada are the Sikhs - remember Air India. Remember how badly the RCMP botched that one!

There could be another angle, tensions have been increasing between modern Mumbai (Bombay) and the conservative state of Maharashtra it's part of.

People sing the N word all the time, go to a hip hop concert.
You really need to get out more Butler...
Tell Kendrick Lamar that he's a hypocrite and an asshole for inviting a white FAN up on stage to sing along with him a few days ago, and then getting upset with her singing HIS lyrics that contain the N word LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

When you base life on feelings rather than logic, like Kendrick Lamar apparently does, you end up doing the most idiotic things like alienating and humiliating a fan over singing your own music.

I'm never a fan of smallcock, but... 'methinks' was grammatically correct in this regard, and YES the P word you used IS a racial epithet.
She's a Millennial....

do you hear how stupid you sound? Are we five years old ? who says "me thinks" and thinks they are grammatically correct? It is " I THINK " according to proper English language. Can the term "paki" be racist- YES , did I mean it in that context ? NO . I simply said it is a Pakistani / indian style restaurant where "paki" short form for PAKISTANIS go to eat. Now stop trying to make me the topic of this thread and get back to what really matters here. Those poor people were eating and a bomb went off , stop trying to give me an English lesson.

I'm going to say this as nicely as possible - shut up already . thanks. Stop being so closed minded about millennials. Your probably a parent of a "millennial" so get your head out of your ass. I'm not surprised you start drama with me - you've been on my ass since I joined the board because I'm one of the only females on here not scared to speak my mind !

Its ** I think ***. & no I did not . good try tho smallestcock !
I don’t usually agree with him, but “methinks” is correct. As-in:
Methinks Queen Gertrude’s line is actually "The lady doth protest too much, methinks."
And respectfully, it’s “it’s.”

Also, it’s definitly a racial epithet.

again you & smallestcock have been on my ass since I joined - please move along ! I am not here for an English class and neither is anyone else.

And again according to proper English language it is " I THINK" not "me thinks" . I will not argue this any further . BTW -you always agree with smallcock when it comes to me - don't try to act like this is the first time you've run to his defence when you seen us arguing about pointless bullshit that he creates.

I’m sorry you feel personally attacked. I wish you no ill will.

I don’t have any specific recollection of ever replying to you before, but you’d probably be right. Mistakingly calling someone out for poor use of basic writing conventions draws attention to your own writing.

If you want to throw shade here (or anywhere), you best come correct.

key words in the link you just provided " OLD ENGLISH" which means exactly what it says OLD ! now please come again with something more current that shows that it is acceptable in CANADA . I'm pretty sure my teachers in elementary told me when you are talking about yourself it is always " I am, I want, I can , etc . Again this is a ESCORT REVIEW BOARD not a English school!

As for the term "paki" Wikipedia is not a resourceful source anyone can post on there .... nice try but I did not mean it in any racial way and if u read my post you would see I did not use it in racist context . So stop trying to make me look like the bad guy - like you and smallcock always do. Get a life. thanks.
You may have no recollection of it - but I do ; I just don't want to go back and search for all our little debates. I don't know how a thread about a BOMBING turned into me getting an English lesson LMAO.

Maybe “methinks” is just new to you? It’s probably most commonly borrowed from Hamlet, one of the most famous plays of all-time. Shakespeare wrote it.

The line is sometimes (with or without irony) misquoted as “Methinks she doth protest too much.” It’s actually “The lady doth protest too much, methinks.”

But I digress. Oxford, Cambridge and Merriam-Webster, bad comedians and you will just have to agree to disagree on that one, methinks.

—-

Can you recommend a specific “resourceful” source you want me to look at in your Google URL? The Google dictionary says it’s a “noun,” “British,” it’s “informal” and “offensive.”

It also says it’s defined as “a person from Pakistan or South Asia by birth or descent, especially one living in Britain.“

Here are the 3 sources that support the Wikipedia quote I posted:

Taylor, Matthew; Gillan, Audrey (13 January 2009). "Racist slur or army banter? What the soldiers say about Prince Harry's comments" – via www.theguardian.com.

"the definition of Paki". Dictionary.com.

"After the N-word, the P-word". 11 June 2007 – via news.bbc.co.uk.

Here’s a more recent fourth article from Canada:
