I agree this is not the music genre for Miley http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M11SvDtPBhA&a=43aFmELGFW4&playnext_from=ML She had talent and youth and let her develop into that talent! No reason to grow up too fast! Yes, she is a very attractive young woman. There's no harm in saying that.
That's fine, but that ain't no market research based on one household. No one entertainer will ever get every human in the world liking them, however, she must have a huge following to have sold millions of her albums. Personally, I don't think she is that talented but I can see the appeal to tweenies. I can visualize her maturing and being a sexy looking woman is she chooses to go that route, but for now she looks and carrys herself like a child to me.
Whenever I watch videos these days, I look for Satanic Masonic symbols that was obviously put in there to please the Illuminati.
Female artists such as Lady Gaga and Rhianna have their video's filled with them. I didn't really see much in Miley's video except for her spreading her wings, which is tame compared to what others do.

Trust me, the music is equally as HORRIBLE as the video. Monotonal, no real melody. We will NEVER hear this played in 15 years, whereas 70's classics will live on and on...
I agree with you. Trying to pigeon hole emotions based on arbitrary age limit is ludicrous. You look at a gorgeous mature woman who is hot. You find out she is 17 ... oh-oh - she's not hot now ?? Oh but she's 18 next week so she will be hot then ??? In dependent of her age, you have emotions based on attraction and there are 17 year old hotties not wearing age tags that are hot. What you do about it is a different matter.
On the other extreme I remember a few 19-20 year old girls in university who look like they escaped from high school. They had little waist & no boobs and look too small to handle the books. By the rules of the '17 no-hot' - these girls are fair game but quit honestly - I could not see the difference dating these girls from 15 year old on the attraction level - even if it is legal. Sorry but for me 17 & hot can be perfectly suitable because 17 & 'hot' are not mutually exclusive.
17 is not really underage, unless you pay her for sex or do it via breach of trust.
Of course, if you are 55, you probably would not get it otherwise.
I feel sorry for the girl, the same way I felt sorry for Britney when she was 17 prancing around onstage with the snake.

Not to argue that "their" music isn't as good as "our" music, but really, you listen to some beetles songs today and they are still works of art. I have an open mind regarding music and don't run to any particular genre and there have been some decent songs written in the past 10 yrs but 99.9% of it is disposable crap disguised as music.

I have to agree. Too many johns here who have their own little hobby horses about what particular sexual deviation is appropriate or not.
It would be different if someone was saying what they did or wanted to do with a minor but let's not kid ourselves, sexualization of women occurs way before many of them reach the age of majority [especially in the media and with celebrities]. Pretending otherwise doesn't make it not so even if it makes the poseurs feel more virtuous.
