I agree with Michael here 110%. This is something that can't be ignored. The allegation is serious enough that if an advertiser can be accused of such a grievous crime and suffer no consequences for not doing their due diligence ( min. responsibility) or flat out exploitation of a minor ( max. responsibility) then how can
ANYONE trust what is being advertised here. Lets face it this board can make or break an SP or Agencies and simply saying that you don't wish to police the industry won't work here, for good or bad this board kind works at policing client service. There is a responsibility here not to deal knowingly with this kind of practice, actually the law doesn't make the distinction. The only point I will make to the board as a whole, now we know, we may not have known yesterday but now we need to deal with it.
This is an industry that is somewhat comfortable on the other side of society norms and laws, so it becomes very important that not only TERB but other Agencies comment regarding 4 Play.
We as clients rely on Agencies to do their due diligence regarding age and letting this pass will cause problems in accepting advertising as accurate. We as clients also have a responsibility that if we think the SP is underage then we walk away.
Yes I know, presumption of innocence and all, however the accusation is sufficiently bad enough that 4Play be banned until they clear their name.
