So sad poor child. This is not uncommon in Yemen and other Arab countries

The worst part is that in Yemen they wanted to create a law that would prohibit this kind of garbage, but they had Islamic women protesting the proposed law. They claimed that it is sharia law and that the Koran allows for these child brides.

Many they were related to those out-of-touch, polygamous religious sect religious nutjobs in Texas who believed in child brides also, till the Government stepped in to stop them!.....

This is rape, plain and simple.

Add this to the "honor killing" list.

BTW, rape happens in every society, most unfortunately.

This happens you will note, in all countries where religion plays a major role in determining what they can and cannot do. Religion overall restricts personal freedoms as they dictate rules for you to follow or claim you will go to hell....

Don't blame all religions here, let's call a spade a fucking shovel. Its Islam. Christianity would not tolerate this.

That is really sad. Something does seem amiss though.... A very high number of young teenagers and even pre teens are having sexualy active in the united states, and we rarely hear of internal bleeding causing death.

I was thinking the same thing. This bastard must have been especially brutal.

The difference is that those religious nuts were breaking the law in Texas. Polygamy is not legal in any state, let alone child brides, in the US... even Utah (despite popular belief).

In Yemen, child brides are LEGAL.

Well, Siddiqui's articles are always one sided, he caters to the local Muslim population. Never mentions how women are treated in Saudi/Iran/Yemen. What a joke.
We he does try to insinuate that women in Iran and Saudi Arabia are highly educated and have many opportunities to get educated. What he doesn't mention is how those educated women in Saudi Arabia can't do anything with that education

I am sure that the wealthy women in those countries are well educated. I believe that Suadi Arabia has recently allowed women to become Lawyers (even if they are not allowed to practice law). I also have the impression that women in Iran do better than in many Arab countries.
