I understand that this dates back to the Norman conquest of England. Certain foods such as beef and pork were reserved for the Norman elite, while other foods such as chicken and fish could be eaten by commoners. The Normans spoke french so the English servants took to calling the meats served to the upper class by the french names, porc and boeuf. Meat from the other animals retained the english name for the animal.

Forbes - Number of billionaires as of 12 Feb 2016.

Alaska, Vermont, North Dakota, Mississippi, New Mexico, Delaware and Alabama had no billionaires in Feb. 2016

Leslie Lampton of Mississippi was a billionaire before the oil prices went to $40-50 a barrel. Bill and Suzan Alfond ( brother and sister ) had an inherited wealth of 1.2 billion but their inherited trust fund investments have gone under a $billion. January 1, 2016 there were 2 states without a billionaire, after opil prices tanked there are now 6 states without a billionaire.
