As far as I know Both are "Loin cuts" Tenderloins such as Filet mignon are cut from the short loin which is the least used muscle and therfore the most tender(and expensive) T-Bone is also from the short loin but contains less of the tenderloin. I eat out too much. rolo

Its true There are both types of filet, Filet Mignon(no bone) is the most common and also Bone-in Filet, which some people say is more flavor full because of the bone. rolo

For reasonable rates try Minto suites(as previously mentioned) also the Marriott usually has deals on weekends as does the Quality Hotel. I like to stay at the Arc Hotel, but as a small boutique hotel and highere prices it may not be what you are looking for.. rolo

I agree Rodneys has lost a little of its oomph.. Starfish is awesome-both the oysters and fresh gish are primo!and there wine list is Very well priced-I think they only add about 20-25% to LCBO prices. Oyster boy is great for take out-rolo
