The Boston Tea Party broke into private property and destroyed property specifically as a protest to unelected officials affecting them financially. I was and is considered a patriotic act in American lore to stand up to powerful oligarchs who try to financially harm the common man.

It's a very direct connection.

Perhaps Elon, as a private citizen, should stop trying to be President and stick to being a CEO in the private sector.
For the second time.. So are you personally going to go out and add to this violence and vandalism?...You know since you're such an advocate of the cause and all.

I wouldn’t do it myself but if I saw someone else doing it I would just look the other way and keep walking.

Well so far Elon has restricted his Oligarchy bullshit to destroying the lives of US citizens. So no, I don't have an immediate need to go after him. I have canceled vacations, stopped buying US products, in response to tariffs.

But should Elon try to use his money to Affect Canadian politics directly, and then set himself up as a Mandarin to destroy CPP, OAS and Universal Healthcare I think I would be motivated to not only destroy every damn thing he loves but to organize a nice mob with pitchforks and everyone to see him burned in the nearest towns Square.

And then go home and sleep quite soundly thank you.

And if someone was just Molotov cocktailing a random car just for the helluva it...What are you doing about that?

Would you get involved or just keep on walking? For comparison sakes.

Great rationale...ExxonMobil owns Imperial Oil right....Which supplies Esso gas stations...So the anti-oil crowd should just start vandalizing and blowing up gas stations?...Because carbon is the existential threat to the world and all.

You backed J6, this is what you voted for, if you are american and not just a niagara wannabe.
Change through violence.

You back trump using violence to crack down on protests.

While other people think that all acts of violence are justified if they are committed by Zionists.
You are becoming unglued.
Most likely you are not qualified to make that determination. You are not objective on this topic.

Are you still attempting to create arguments? Every accusation you make is an attempt at such. We got banned for arguing too much, It seems like you may have not received the memo as your posting style has not changed at all. Even though I may still disagree strongly with you, I have toned down the language I use. At least I hope I have. The mods are the judges of that.

Have you changed anything in your posting style? If so, I can't see it. Every post seems combative.

It may depend on who or what the violence is the object of said violence. A person? Never.

An object? May be debatable.
Blowing up somebodies property who isn't a threat to you is illogical and illegal.

Want to make a real statement. Go buy a Tesla then blow it up. That I can respect.

Butler's ''patriots'' would never consider that one though, now would they?

The Boston Tea Party attendees didn't buy the tea before.

What a ridiculous statement.

trump threatening to take Greenland when neither it or Denmark is a threat sounds a lot worse than damaging a hunk of metal held together by glue.

They are both inappropriate but do you agree with the differing levels of inappropriateness that I pointed out. Please have the wherewithal to give a direct response even if it's uncomfortable for you. Based on previous discussions I've had with you I am highly doubtful. You have clearly not demonstrated that level of integrity prior to this.

If they said Canada was not a real country and threatened it's existence, gas stations would be a nice start. If they had a CEO oligarch who tried to destroy our social safety net, then thems the breaks.

If there was no socially redeeming purpose to the vandalism then I would use my well developed MMA skills to subdue the scoundrel myself…unless it was your car in which case I’d keep walking.

Isn't that why they torch them at Tesla dealerships, while they are owned by Tesla and not citizens?
