Jagshit always looking out for the little guy. The only little guy he looks out for is between his legs. The NDP want more carbon taxes on industry and the oil$gas industry, less on consumers.
The only job FF is good at is the kind he gives not gets.I think he needs to get a job
more courses will only make him dumber
what is new is the mountain of debt, the expanded size of govt and the tax burdenPeople get sick of a leader after a couple of terms. Happens every time. Nothing new.
what are the odds of tax relief from this set of liberals or the NDP ? ZeroI think taxes definitely need to be cut but I dont think whether it is the CPC, the Libs or the NDP, it will change much.
You need to think things through. 100% for whom? Their corporate overlords. Not for the common man.what are the odds of tax relief from the CPC ? the carbon tax ? 100%
you need to drill down deeper and think things through
None of that will change with the CPC. You seem to think PP is going to turn Canada upside down. He will cut immigration. Cut taxes for the rich and the corporates. However because housing prices are minimally impacted by immigration there won't be much change to housing affordability. And we won't see any change in our paychecks.what is new is the mountain of debt, the expanded size of govt and the tax burden
this is going to be devastating
You still need to pay for services, tax the rich and corporations more if you want lower taxes on the middle class.Right now the way they define "rich" is anyone over the median income lol. Canada's pay is half that of the US for any job, taxation is higher, cost of living is higher and overall Canadians are poorer. I think taxes definitely need to be cut but I dont think whether it is the CPC, the Libs or the NDP, it will change much.
I agree with increasing taxes on the corporations. The rich I think need to be defined. Right now if you earn 200K you are considered rich. I think 200K in Toronto will still be middle class, but not per the definitions of the govt. You still need to pay for services, tax the rich and corporations more if you want lower taxes on the middle class.
WTF?You need to think things through. 100% for whom? Their corporate overlords. Not for the common man.
what part of axe the tax do you not understandNone of that will change with the CPC.
no he is just going to stop the disastrous policies of the irresponsible TrudeauYou seem to think PP is going to turn Canada upside down.
okHe will cut immigration.
there is no room to do thatCut taxes for the rich and the corporates.
wrong again, it is a demand issueHowever because housing prices are minimally impacted by immigration there won't be much change to housing affordability.
he is not promising thatAnd we won't see any change in our paychecks.
Carbon tax. Pfft. Pray tell me how much do you pay in carbon taxes every year? The biggest issue is the personal income tax we pay which is ridiculously high beyond a point. If you make 200K you take home, what, 100K? 50%!! None of that will change.WTF?
Pierre has made it 100% clear he will axe the carbon tax, which negatively impacts the poor and middle class
it is a consumption tax on predominately non discretionary energy needs
what part of axe the tax do you not understand
no he is just going to stop the disastrous policies of the irresponsible Trudeau
ok
there is no room to do that
he will have a monstrous debt to deal with
he will have to shrink the size of govt & that will be expensive
wrong again, it is a demand issue
or are you going to pretend millions of new comers have not added to housing demand ?
are you going to pretend that millions more new comers will not add to future housing demand ?
tents do not work well in Canadian Winters
he is not promising that
what you wont see in a PP mandate is the inflationary effects of ever increasing carbon taxes which is a done deal under the moron Trudeau
those are the facts of the matter
You need to think things through & stop pretending
that's the result of irresponsible spendingCarbon tax. Pfft. Pray tell me how much do you pay in carbon taxes every year? The biggest issue is the personal income tax we pay which is ridiculously high beyond a point. If you make 200K you take home, what, 100K? 50%!! None of that will change.
or are you going to pretend millions of new comers have not added to housing demand ?And you yourself produced a graph that showed housing affordability is because of supply not catching up with population growth. It is not a demand issue. We are building less houses today than we did in 1970, when the population has doubled. So even if you halt population growth, not just immigration but population growth, the affordability crisis will persist. The only solution is to build more houses, in Toronto and Vancouver and other major cities where population booms happen.
Actually, it sounds like the Libs have put their final nail in their coffin with their out-of-touch-with-reality budget. The second one for consumers, it'll be $9 cheaper.
So maybe that business model succeeds.
The libs new budget will tax the rich, PeePee says its an attack on the middle class and the NDP want more.
Sounds like a winner for th libs.
The only public sector workers who should lose their jobs are them and their cronies.Actually, it sounds like the Libs have put their final nail in their coffin with their out-of-touch-with-reality budget.
While I'm all for them cutting 5000 public sector workers, I'm sure many won't be.
The NDP fails to comprehend that the more they tax the oil and gas industry, the more these costs trickle down to the consumer and makes them poorer. Which i think is their goal. The NDP want more carbon taxes on industry and the oil$gas industry, less on consumers.
The oil$gas industry gets $18 billion a year in government subsidies while raking in billions in profit. The NDP fails to comprehend that the more they tax the oil and gas industry, the more these costs trickle down to the consumer and makes them poorer. Which i think is their goal.
The far left fails to understand that we need oil and gas to heat homes, drive cars, and power virtually every aspect of the economy.
Wait until they hear that fossil fuels are nedded to make their clothes. Their heads will explode.
Your usual small picture thinking...The oil$gas industry gets $18 billion a year in government subsidies while raking in billions in profit.
Why not cut those subsidies to give the middle class tax breaks?
Why don't you share with us how much forest fires, floods, drought, insurance and health cares associated with breathing in exhaust and forest fires cost us? Why don't you share with us how much it will cost Canada if the AMOC shuts down?Your usual small picture thinking...
Why don't you share the part about how much the oil & gas industry contributes to Canada's GDP and then tell us if you think $18 billion is not worth the investment.
But I thought you commend countries that benefit from the oil & gas industry but it sounds like you only do that when it suits your narrative? Why don't you share with us how much forest fires, floods, drought, insurance and health cares associated with breathing in exhaust and forest fires cost us? Why don't you share with us how much it will cost Canada if the AMOC shuts down?
Why do defend giving the oil&gas industry $18 billion a year in subsidies when they are raking in such massive profits?
Why subsidize an industry making massive profits when they clearly can pay their own way?Subsidies provide a massive return on investment for the economy. Simple math that I know you struggle with.
Frankie youre using a cartoonist to give you advice on oil and gas? Come on, do better. Everyone knows that the carbon tax gets passed onto the lower and middle class. The secret has been out for a while. Too many people choose to ignore it however. The oil$gas industry gets $18 billion a year in government subsidies while raking in billions in profit.
Why not cut those subsidies to give the middle class tax breaks?
