You really think all those women what to live like that?
So let me summarize:
According to you:
- Sharia law is bad.
- You know what the women there want.
- You feel sorry for those innocent men, women and children having to live under Sharia law, even though the people may say they want it.
- You say that Israel is committing genocide there.
So you conclude that it is better for these innocent men, women and children to be killed via GENOCIDE, than to allow them self-determination where they can peacefully live under laws of their own choosing.
Surely, you must either be trolling or be insane.

Yes LGBTQ rights make for a better world.
So you have automatically conceded then that Trump's executive orders and rhetoric targeting LGBTQ people is regressive and make the world a worse place.
I spoke nothing of curtailing or removing Israelis and this seems to be your fabrication.
I said Palestinians deserve self determination and that is a position that Canada and 140+ countries support.
If your argument now is that a place where LGBTQ people could potentially be vilified, should not have a right to self determination, then your earlier concession regarding the US seems to question the validity of the United States itself!
Wyatt, your own arguments have you cornered here because while you talk about LGBTQ rights in Palestine, you hypocritically support anti-LGBTQ policies in your own homeland.
This is once again a bad faith argument from you.
This is an extraordinary bit of whataboutism. If you think you can dodge illiberalism around the world by trying to compare it to the U.S. you are a dangerous, double-talking presence. This is type of desperate propaganda we can always expect from members like Franky.

No, it was fair.
You are arguing that genocide is preferable to Shariah law.

You support illiberal, anti-democratic, anti-LGBTQ demagoguery in your homeland, while advocating for LGBTQ rights in Palestine!.
It now seems clear to me that you are using LGBTQ rights purely as a crutch to advocate for what is essentially further destruction of a people and therefore engaging in double speak.

I'd say that Sharia law and Islamofacsism is a major part of the problem yes.

Sorry, Butler, mostly staying out of this thread, but the last few pages here...
Have you become in favor of interventionist wars in the Middle East for humanitarian reasons now?
