So I had the new Badflower streaming today and this song came on and I almost lost it - what a tune, great lyrics and made me wonder - what song hits you that it invokes an emotion that you def. didn't anticipate at that moment.

There`s a lot of reflection and lament there that mirrors Ray Davies/The Kinks. It`s good.

Sonic..lots of songs have tugged at my heart.....but this is the most recent....and although i,ve heard this song many times , on this particular occasion, i got choked up and teary eyed....in Aug of 2023 i was admitted to the hospital with a very high fever and a bacterial infection, compounded by a bout of pneumonia..spent 17 days in the hospital...any way i had my laptop to pass the time....one day my girlfriend and her daughter came to visit....and the very next day my sister came...when she left i went on You Tube to find some Ronnettes music i could listen to.... i played this one...and for some reason it was overwhelming and i almost lost it..

I recently asked for this song to be played at the funeral of a family member who lost a short but courageous battle with cancer.

The power of music - amazing what it does isn't it - we never forget that memory and emotion. Great song.
