I slept on the Pussycat Dolls. This is really good. It also helps that Nicole Scherzinger is very easy on the 👀

I bought Avant's debut album 'My Thoughts' in early 2001 and loved it. But for some reason I never bought anything else from him. This track was from his 3rd album, 'Private Room', released in 2003. Its a banger.

Now this is an artist that I really got into. I own several Donell Jones albums, his first two are the best. This was from his 3rd album, 'Life Goes On', released in 2002

This was one of my favorite jams from the 2000's. Cheri Dennis was basically a one and done artist on the Bad Boy Records label. Seems that was a systemic thing ex. Cassie Ventura. Diddy was poison. I hope this guy spends a long time getting buttfucked in jail.

That being said, same thing happened to Megan Rochell on the Def Jam label. Still can't figure out how she dropped a 🔥track like this and then just disappeared

Apparently Brandy & Monica have made up and are going on tour together this summer. I might go. This was a monster hit for them in the late 1990's. Produced by Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins and Dallas Austin.

Brenton Wood is one of my favorite singers of that era. I've been exploring his discography for a while now. This is another ballad of his I enjoy

Early James Brown. You really get to hear his pure vocals on this one, without the shrieking. Dude was masterful. Again I'll say it the most important artist in black music history.

She was most famous for "My Guy". This was a tidy mid tempo gem as well.

Horns Driven , thick Bass and Drum lines....southern soul style vocals and overtly sexual in a "clean "way"...........doesn,t get any better than that lol
