i knew from her since the late60,s in to the early 70s...but only discovered this song many years later while shopping at Kopps Collectables on Queen ST....bought this single there and still have it................has Clarence Carter,s finger prints all over it
The movie The Five Heartbeats (1991) is a fictional biopic of several Motown artists, but most notably, The Dells. They are featured on the soundtrack including this jam with Billy Valentine

I really dig her voice, its so unique and soulful. I also noticed she's done a few covers of Elvis songs over the years.
