Trudeau is a corrupt moron who has never understood the responsibilities of the Prime Ministers officeWow a 25 year old pic from a costume party where he dressed as an Arab.... big deal. He got us through the covid crisis and economically we were at or above the other G7 nations. All the while upholding rights, giving a damn about the health of the planet, helping suffering people and showing that Canada still has heart.
The Canadian economy is flailing in decades of decreased productivity, even before Harper .If PP had done the same you Libs would have a total meltdown
You sure about that??

Mango Mussolini realizes that PP would be a boot licker and is working to make him seem more appealing to Canadian voters via reverse psychology. Keep in mind, Trump praised PP back in January, when polls showed the Conservatives were headed for a majority. But, Carney and Trump's stupidity made this a much tighter race...So, Trump wants to give PP a leg up by pretending to endorse Carney. And, of course, all the Maple MAGAts are falling all over themselves saying this should disqualify Carney...which....doesn't really make sense...But, sure.Yes, Trump hates Pierre. Pierre is not a true Maga!!
Trump likes Carney better, because at least Carney has previously worked in the private sector!!
A Carney minority with an NDP and or Bloc coalition or a Carney majority will result in Premier Smith calling a referendum on Alberta sovereignty towards annexation by MAGA Trump’s government. The Alberta referendum will be financed and influenced by MAGA Trump.IMHO, Carney's going to win this election in a landslide. Majority government for the libs upcoming!!
Trump is not using reverse psychology, he wants a Carney win to catalyze Alberta separation momentum. A Carney win would stir up even more the hornet‘s nest in Alberta towards annexation by Trump who wants the oil.100%
Damn, you called it.A Carney minority with an NDP and or Bloc coalition or a Carney majority will result in Premier Smith calling a referendum on Alberta sovereignty towards annexation by MAGA Trump’s government. The Alberta referendum will be financed and influenced by MAGA Trump.
Trump and Smith realize that a Poilievre win would dampen WEXIT sentiment, so that they have thrown PP under the bus.
Vichy Smith and Moe Trump who are MAGA operatives in Canada are working towards Trump’s ambition of seizing the Alberta Energy sector ASAP.
Canada is poised to take a major haircut in the next several months as Trump attempts to do to Canada economically what Putin has done to Ukraine militarily.
Let me leave this here for you and I will highlight a few of the key paragraphs because I know you will not read it. BTW. do you know where Carney is from?? Just asking for a friend.Damn, you called it.
I wasn't going to post this, but might as well now. People can deny all they want, reality will always be reality.

So what we have is a POTUS, superpower wishing to annex Alberta for it‘s oil and Saskatchewan for it‘s potash. MAGA Smith has been working with Trump for a while now, preparing Alberta for sale which has becomes more blatant obvious recently as she is encouraging referendums including separation and lowering the required signature threshold which helps out her partner Trump. The deal that Trump has offered Smith cannot be matched by Carney.Let me leave this here for you and I will highlight a few of the key paragraphs because I know you will not read it. Could Alberta Leave Canada? What to Know
The largely conservative province may hold a referendum on separating from the nation in 2026, according to its premier.time.com
"Most Albertans, according to a May 1 poll by Ottawa-based Nanos Research, believe that staying with Canada would be better for the economy. Only 1 in 10 respondents said that the province would be better off as part of the U.S."
" But leaving is not so easy as voting in favor of a referendum. Canada’s constitution does not allow unilateral separation. Following the unsuccessful referenda on separation in Quebec, the federal government enacted the Clarity Act in 2000 on how to approach future referenda on provinces seeking independence from the country. The act stipulates that the national parliament’s House of Commons determines if the referendum on a province’s independence demonstrates “a clear expression of a will by a clear majority” of the provincial population. Once determined, the provincial government can then negotiate with the federal government to amend the Canadian constitution to potentially allow its secession. "
"
Shortly after Carney’s election, the Prime Minister met with Smith, who wrote in a post on X on May 2 that the two discussed measures regarding Alberta’s economy “and specific proposals for projects and legislative reforms that will significantly increase market access for Alberta oil and gas, agricultural products and other goods.” Smith described the conversation with Carney as “a positive first step.”
Carney replied to Smith’s post: “We’re both focused on bringing down the cost of living and increasing opportunities in the energy sector for hard working Albertans. I look forward to working together—to break down interprovincial trade barriers and to build one strong Canadian economy.”In her recent statement, Smith said that her provincial government will appoint a negotiating team to address those policies. She also said she will chair an “Alberta Next” panel, which will hold a series of town halls, to hear from Albertans about what they want for the future of the province."
"Smith clarified that the Albertan government will not push a vote on separating from Canada and that she personally does not support separation, but she asserted: “If there is a successful citizen-led referendum petition that is able to gather the requisite number of signatures requesting such a question to be put on a referendum, our government will respect the democratic process and include that question on the 2026 provincial referendum ballot.”"
Carney says that Canada is “ not for sale” but Smith has already parted her legs, lubed with Alberta crude and given Trump a big opening
into Alberta with her “ up for sale sign”
Carney was born in Ft Smith, NWT which is irrelevant to what is going on now.
If you read again my posts, you will see that I am saying essentially the same thing as you although you are somewhat delayed in recognizing my predictions.I guess when Trump said “it takes two to tango” and our new PM shot back with “Canada is NOT for sale,” that just didn’t scratch your itch for conspiracy, huh? Never mind that Trump, in a rare moment of restraint, didn’t call Carney weak, woke, or a socialist—he actually referred to him as “a great guy” and showed more respect in one press conference than he ever showed Pee Pee, Smith and Justin combined.
But let’s talk about Smith the bitch, the self-styled oil baroness of Alberta, who’s has mistaken governing for auditioning to be Trump's northern envoy. Between flirting with separation referendums which she herself says is against separation, lowering democratic thresholds like it's a clearance sale, and tossing Alberta’s autonomy around like a party favour, she’s not just playing with fire, she’s hoping Trump throws her a bone but he won't, he has no respect for Smith.
And yet, despite all that bootlicking, Carney is the one who stood in the room with Trump, held his ground, and came out earning praise. Even Dougy happily admitted that Carney crushed it. But of course, you’re still squinting through those blue-tinted Pee Pee lenses, determined to see betrayal where there was actual leadership.
It might be time for some new glasses. Or at least a better script to support your narrative.
Alberta separatists are only about 30% of the population, according to CBC. Though the just changed the laws so you only need 177,000 signatures to hold a referendum. If you read again my posts, you will see that I am saying essentially the same thing as you although you are somewhat delayed in recognizing my predictions.
Carney will do his best, but he is dealing with a capricious POTUS controlling a superpower that wants to carve up Canada and take the most lucrative province, a province run by a more than MAGA friendly premier.
Carney will continue to get pummelled by Smith domestically and Trump externally.
And by the way, PP is now neutered and increasingly irrelevant.
Canada doesn’t have the cards to battle America the superpower , not economically nor militarily.
The only thing that Carney could do would be to encourage a run on the US Treasury by nations that have substantial holdings there namely Japan, China, the UK and to some extent Canada as a buffer against Trump’s on and off tariff games.
Already Trump has back off when the US Treasury recently got rocked a few weeks ago.

We do not know exactly what was discussed between Carney and Trump behind closed doors do we ?I see where you're coming from, but I think you’re overstating both Trump’s intent and Canada’s vulnerability. Yes, the U.S. is a superpower, and yes, Smith’s posture toward MAGA politics is concerning. But that doesn’t mean Trump is in a position—or has the bandwidth—to “carve up” Canada. His admiration for Carney after their meeting suggests even he recognizes a serious counterpart when he sees one.
As for Carney being “pummelled” by Smith—let’s be real. Smith has made herself a very loud domestic critic, but volume doesn’t equal impact. Carney is staying focused and measured, and that contrast is becoming clearer to voters who, for the most part, are proud of his performance yesterday. I even heard right-wingers like Lisa Raitt praising Carney's performance along with Dougy.
I disagree that Pee Pee has been sidelined unless of course, he were to lose the next Bye-election, which is highly unlikely. I suspect going forward we will see a much more easy-going, less attack-dog styled Pee Pee.
Except the support for AB separation is well below 50% and there is no way a WEXIT is going to practically happen. We do not know exactly what was discussed between Carney and Trump behind closed doors do we ?
In the photo op after the meeting Carney did perform well in front of the cameras to the extent that he rebuffed Trump’s annexation plans and that Trump remained more or less civil.
Unfortunately for Canada, I expect Trump to hit the Canadian economy with another potential devastating tariff or economic constraints within days to show that his machinations have not changed.
The duo of Smith and Trump working on Carney and more importantly the rest of Canada will drive the Canadian economy into recession this year, and if America goes into recession as well, Canada will degrade even further.
The growing uncertainty about the extent to which Alberta will dance around sovereignty will continue to shake Canada to the core.
Smith knows that Carney cannot match her demands and that the deal that Trump offers for Alberta might look increasingly more appealing very soon.
The spectre of transfer payment dependent Quebec getting a haircut is increasing now.
Blanchet was correct in saying that Canada is an artificial country and Quebec and Alberta with their respective relationships with Ottawa continuously prove this. Canada is a federation of provinces with a weak central government with Quebec never having signed the constitution and Alberta circumventing the constitution. As such an opportunistic foreign plunderer like Trump is able to exploit this flaw and weakness in Canada towards annexation.
I think there is a looming issue for the CPC involving a schism between the Western Trump-lite ding dongs like Smith, Moe, Scheer and Pee and the Eastern centrists like Duggo. The fact that asshole, fool-oid loser Scheer was made interim house leader suggests that the Western clique still runs the party. But you have to ask how much longer this is going to continue.I see where you're coming from, but I think you’re overstating both Trump’s intent and Canada’s vulnerability.
