Is It Hypocritical to Be a Conservative and See Escorts?

Genuinely curious—no shade here, just something I’ve noticed over the years.

Some of the most frequent, respectful, and generous clients I’ve had have been conservative men—sometimes even deeply religious, family-oriented, or politically active types. They’re buttoned-up on the outside, but behind closed doors? Wildly open, deeply respectful of discretion, and often repeat clients.

So it got me thinking…

How do conservative values around “traditional family” square with seeing companions? Is it compartmentalized, or is there some internal contradiction?

And for the gents reading this—if you are conservative or religious, how do you justify it to yourself? Does it feel like hypocrisy or just a private indulgence?

No judgment here—I’m just fascinated by how people navigate that split between public morality and private desire.

What gets under my skin is these same conservative folks, when in a political party, try to go after the industry to attempt to shut it down to please their religious, moralistic base.

It's not hypocritical in the least, although I do find it funny, since conservatives are often -- and usually rightfully so -- equated with sexual repression.

As a frequent user of psychedelics, I also find it hilarious when I hear about conservative-minded folks dropping acid or taking mushrooms. That just doesn't add up for me. Could you imagine Pierre Poilievre tripping balls?

You've defined "conservative" how you want to. How do THEY define themselves? Everyone is different and never think Conservatives (or Liberals, or NDP, or Greens) are a monolith right? Everyone defines their priorities as they see fit.

I mean, maybe they consider themselves "conservative" but don't give a rat's ass about religion or so-called 'family values".

Have you ever come across someone who is liberal/non-conservative
and religious? My observation is the liberal-minded are just as inclined
to be religious. Pierre Trudeau for one was genuinely Catholic.

So i just vote for those who align with my views more at the current moment, or who propose better solutions to my problems.

One other point to add is that there are not many true conservatives left anymore.
What you see as conservative today are just far right views and these views do not have any respect for traditionalism which is what conservatism is supposed to be about.

Lol... if you read the posts of the "lefties" on this thread, that is how bad the stigma about the conservatives are...basically labeling the other side as "someone against" or "suppressing rights" blah blah blah...we are no longer in medieval times or Jesus Christ era...yes, that's how long sex work has been right? And to think there are probably a lot of conservatives and religious zealots that are against sex workers back in the day... We have come a long ways that sex work is now accepted... I bet you some lefties here would prefer discretion just like any conservatives for the same reason...not to be known in public that they also hire sex worker...
