I know monarchs aren't interfere with a country's affairs, but as a Canadian, I'd have welcomed Charles giving the Orange Turd a stiff aristocratic "dear boy" talking to.

Constitutional monarchies with parliamentary democracies are the best form of government. Full stop. Look at all the shitty leaders that have come out of republics: Hitler, Stalin, Pinochet, Erdogan, Putin, Batista, Castro, Cromwell, Robespierre. Idi Amin and Ghadaffi.

Until Donald Trump, the US was one of the more functional republics, but those days are gone. You don't get crazed nutbars coming to the helm as prime ministers in Constitutional Monarchies. Closest thing was Mussolini, but that was a whole other story and he was never a dictator while serving as PM of Italy.

Also, the Monarchy in Canada is here to stay, and anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional.
