Been watching Leave It To Beaver on CHCH. 2nd season right now. Whenever Larry Mondello is in an episode, it’s a sure bet something hilarious will happen! I like the earlier seasons when Beaver is younger.

On the slopes of Mount Parnassus, Greece
I just finished re watching The Deuce.

It's about as realistic and hard hitting as it gets telling the stories of the burgeoning sex trade industry in Times Square in the 70's and 80's. The subject matter is often grim and poignant bit it's a great watch. It's about as far from Leave It To Beaver as you can get.

One of my all time favourites.

I started watching Severance.
Great sci fi series.
I am also watching House of David. Excellent acting and very close to the historical record.

Waiting for the return of Dark Winds next Sunday. And the new season of Yellow Jackets just started a few weeks ago. Liking it so far.
Can't recall if the Pitt was mentioned or not but if it hasn't it's excellent.

Agree on The Pitt.

Written by and starring Noah Wyle from the old medical emergency room series ER.

Naturally, given the passage of time, an older and much more serious and mature version of his ER character.

A cable friendly more gritty version of ER, without the romance, and side plots.

Covers a single day in an ER, and so far has held my attention through the first 6 episodes in one sitting.

Punisher is in this one. JJ is rumored as well. And there has been serious talk of a reboot for her in a series.
The Netflix/Defenders series were retconned back into the MCU so it'll be a continuation of that series.

There's also a rumor that Mike Cotler is going to show up as Luke Cage and Finn Jones has been campaigning for a Heroes for Hire series.

Not gonna lie, the first season of Iron Fist sucked. The second was a huge improvement. And speaking of MCU actors campaigning for things, Simu Liu has said he would like to see Jessica Henwick reprise her role as Colleen Wing/Daughter of the Dragon in the next Shang-Chi movie.

They didn't need to retcon. In Jessica Jones Avengers 1 is clearly referenced. There are other ones as well.

I think they bring in JJ. There is also talk of a Punusher one off streaming movie last I heard.

I see Mike Coulter coming back. Finn Jones? Tough sell.

Oh, I know that JJ, Daredevil and Luke Cage all explicitly reference the Battle of New York, I just got the impression that the Netflix/Defenders series were retconned out of the MCU for a while then brought back in.

As I said, Finn has said he would like to do a Heroes for Hire series with Mike. There's also talk of giving The Defenders a second season. There was a fan theory that the reason why Kingpin was able to regain so much power in Hawkeye is because The Defenders were blipped. I haven't seen it yet but Echo shows that at least Matt Murdock was alive during the Blip years. I haven't seen Born Again yet but I'm interested to see if The Blip is addressed at all.

They were.
They sorta kinda still exist in general terms, but nothing from any of the netflix shows is explicitly canon in detail.
They will decide on a case by case basis how much is if they bring someone back. (And even then it is broad strokes only.)

Which is fine. That's all you need.

I've been saying for years that social media is a cancer on society, Stephen Graham agrees with me. Adolescence has become a cultural phenomenon, Mr. Graham and Owen Cooper (who plays his son) are 1,2 on the IMDB popularity chart.

Still agree on The Pitt. 13 episodes in still great. All medical, no humour or romantic side plots.

Apparently actual ER doctors saying it's the most realistic emergency department tv series yet.

I've been playing catch-up with the MCU movies and series and I'm about half-way through Secret Invasion and hoo boy! They were right about it not being one of the better series.

I've also been watching Zero Day on Netflix and it's been pretty great. I also just got through watch Fallen and The Darkness. Fallen is based on a YA series while The Darkness is a murder mystery set in Iceland that definitely takes a lot of cues from True Detective.

I just started Common Side Effects last night and it's also been really good too.
