Why does my cibc chequing and savings account in the app shows “-“ symbol? Its just showing this only on my chequing and savings account. Its shows my credit card account. Please help me someone with this .

Did you deposit any cheques recently? If those cheques were for large amounts and were returned NSF, CIBC may have Frozen your accounts. That's what the "-" symbol means.Maybe you are right. I ve been fucking around for a while

no, Its all fixed now. They were doing the maintenance on the app and so the app was down. But they’ve done maintenance before too, I ve never seen “-“ on my accounts before whenever they do maintenance. I almost had a panic attack lol… the irony is I got a scam call yesterday playing the Canada post recording and since I attended the call, I thought they hacked my account when I checked the bank app later.
