Denmark is getting ready for Russia invading NATO countries

I grew up in Denmark after WWII and we were told all the time that SSSR (evil Russians) we're planning to invade us, and just waiting for the right moment.
Of course, after the SSSR fell, and the archives became available, it became so learned that the Russians were deadly scared of NATO.
Trump said that USA will take Greenland, one way or another.
If The USA offered good compensation for Greenland would that be bad?
Or is Greenland that valued by Denmark?
I figure you're the person to ask on here about this.
Did anyone ever think they would see the day that the US would declare war on so many countries??? I never thought I would see the US wanting to take one country let alone 3 or more.

It's 1000X more likely that Russia will attack a NATO country. Trump is just throwing out wild ideas to get a reaction and "see what happens", maybe hoping he'll get lucky and get a positive response, but it hasn't gone well. You could tell when he brought up Greenland in his speech the other night, and Vance and Johnson behind him smirked, they all knew it was a joke at this point, not serious.
I will give it a try:
Denmark, and much more importantly the Greenlanders, do not want Greenland to be part of USA.
Greenlanders have almost full self determination, with their own parliament ( and members in the Danish Parliament). Denmark handles Defense and Foreign affairs for them, and supplies most of their GDP and health care, education etc. They have formally been promised any additional self determination that they request by a majority.
The Greenlanders government have recently said that they want total independence as a sovereign country, it is not clear that they want to not have Denmark pay anymore.
Greenland was discovered 982, and settled by the Danes in 984.
Clearly, and that is agreed by everybody, the Danish administrators over the years made mistakes as colonizers, but not as grievous mistakes as the Canadians did.
Greenland is NOT up for sale. But if you think it is, tell us how much the USA is willing to pay for it?

Countries and national pride and community is not for sale. It is not a trannsaction for anyone except shallow progiteers and the gullible mooks who are too unprincipled to know any better.

I doubt it. But they have a sustainable fishing treaty with EU, and would likely get subsidies from EU and some continued support from Denmark.
