I'm confused, isn't DEI respect for human rights? Or should it only apply to folks like Enrique Tarrio...another step closer to martial law.

You're right you are confused. DEI has nothing to do with human rights. It has everything to do with social re-engineering and treating people differently based upon race, gender or sexuality.

Calling for a ban on Americans from this board is sheer insanity. I'd expect much better from you IV.

I'll accept that as a fair argument.
I am sure The Chief Information Officers (CIO) Council is relieved that you accept their definition

so now that it has been established that EOs are "law" , will you accept

I say they should get in line and follow executive orders. Executive orders are not opinions and ideas...they are law.

oh
have you decided to be serious ?
JL, Wemby bought a book to the All Star game locker room and started reading. He's attempting to follow in the footsteps of his role model Kareem Abdul Jabbar. When Joker saw this he said, "he brought a book can I bring a horse".

And now here's something you'll really like.

I am accepting you saying they are more than opinion with this as backing you up.

Of course not, because it is factually wrong.
EOs aren't law and the AP is under no obligation to name things according to how Trump wants things named in the US.
They should acknowledge that the US official documents now name it that way, but have no obligation to follow it in their own style guide.

no
this is not an opinion

they are stating fact

3.1 Executive Orders (EOs)
An EO is a declaration by the president which has the force of law, usually based on existing statutory powers, and requiring no action by the Congress. They are numbered consecutively, so executive orders may be referenced by their assigned number, or their topic. A sitting U.S. President may overturn an existing executive order (Federal Register. Executive Orders. All Executive Orders Since 1994) by issuing another executive order to that effect. (American Bar Association. What Is an Executive Order? 10/9/2020.)

similarly

Both executive orders and proclamations have the force of law
, much like regulations issued by federal agencies, so they are codified under Title 3 of the Code of Federal Regulations, which is the formal collection of all of the rules and regulations issued by the executive branch and other federal agencies.

Executive orders are not legislation; they require no approval from Congress, and Congress cannot simply overturn them. Congress may pass legislation that might make it difficult, or even impossible, to carry out the order, such as removing funding. Only a sitting U.S. President may overturn an existing executive order by issuing another executive order to that effect.

Of course not, because it is factually wrong.
Both executive orders and proclamations have the force of law,
no it is not

I am assuming AP refers to the Associated Press
you are referring to the gulf renaming
that is a minor issue

the bigger issue is the audits of irresponsible spending by federal agencies
Both executive orders and proclamations have the force of law,

This will infuriate the Freedumb types. If Trudeau can integrate the PRC and the EU into the Canadian economy he'll be considered one of Canada's greatest PMs.

Make America Great Again...with listeria, measles and bird flu - blame DEI.

Kirk I'm touched, I'm just a goofy fuck.

Doug Ford/aka Canada's trump, is still backing a $100 million contract with Musk's Starlink to buy $50 million's worth of services.
Ontario should dump Ford and then join the EU plan to set up a collective, non corporate owned, satellite network.

not enough political interference by the PRC in Canada for you?

Greenland, Panama & the rattling of Canada are all down to Trumps view that China is the real enemy and he needs to prevent further expansion of the PRC

China officially defines itself as a "near-Arctic state," actively engaging in Arctic affairs and claiming a stake in the region through its Arctic policy, particularly regarding economic opportunities and shipping routes.
Key points about China's Arctic stance:
  • Self-designation:
China formally declared itself a "near-Arctic state" in its 2018 Arctic policy white paper.

  • Strategic interest:
China sees the Arctic as a potential source of natural resources and a key maritime route, particularly with the melting ice opening up new shipping lanes.

  • Polar Silk Road:
China has proposed a "Polar Silk Road" initiative to further its economic engagement in the Arctic.

  • Criticisms:
Some nations and experts question China's claim to "near-Arctic state" status due to its geographical distance from the Arctic region.

what do you think Trump will do if Trudeau tries to integrate the PRC into the Canadian economy?
that will not end well for Canada
the depth of your thinking is measured in micrometers

Trudeaus legacy is sealed
No question about it "He is the worse Prime Minister in Canadian History"
