I think it's funny that when Liberals copy Conservatives you hear crickets...Ford promises something similar to what the NDP are saying and it suddenly becomes something to criticize him about. Lol!

Case & point: Remember how much the Liberals supported the carbon tax for years and now that they realize they are going to lose the election they are all promising to scrap it if elected.

Removing a few kms of provincially owned 407 East does nothing except bribe voters in Durham Region AND does not compare to DE-TOLLING the entire privately owned 407 as proposed by the NDP.

Rubes are so easily fooled and bribed with their own money.

What I am saying is if Carney become Prime Minister he will drive capital, jobs and companies south of the border and damage our already fragile economy

you seem to be misunderstanding what is occurring here,
perhaps it is out of ignorance as you oddly claimed not to follow Canadian politics (despite being very aware of US politics - exceptionally odd for a Canadian)

Allow me to bring you up to speed.
The liberal party of Canada is a train wreak , and a band aid solution of a new leader will not fix it
It needs to be obliterated and then rebuilt with entirely new people

The bad apple Trudeau has spoiled the rest of the barrel.
the barrel needs to be emptied and disinfected.

The new leader of he liberal party will be analogous to accepting the captains job on the SS Titanic, after it hit the iceberg
He/ she will rearrange the deck Charis on the way down
whether he moves them to the right or left is moot.

Secondly, my question was about becoming Liberal leader, not PM.
