My feeds are filled with alternative products. I don't buy much in the way if processed food anyway, Niagara wine is my go to(I do a tasting run and buy cases once a year, lay some down for future drinking). Use farmers markets as soon as they open, hit Mennonite country as well for things.

And generally don't consume much bullshit. Also no USA trips this year. My 10 grand in travel dollars will be spent elsewhere.

Canada is gonna get screwed over if we don't realize what the game is. The USA suddenly woke up and realized it created MASSIVE gaps in its strategic supply chain by confronting Russia and China. Even worse it helped China secure the most desireable trove of resources on the planet with a land bridge!! So NOW to even stand a CHANCE of competing with China it needs to secure Canadas resources and make them internal. US oil reserves are only 35B bbls, vs Canadas 127B plus all the other strategic resources that China is now cutting off in retaliation. Gallium Vandiaum and all those other obscure but critical elements. So IMHO the annexation is on. Canadas only option to remain independant is to provide IRONCLAD guaratees of access to resources. I think with some skill we can create a trade agreement that is more ironclad. Make national security events subject to scrutiny with quick resolutions and place massive penalties on tariff reversals. If a national secuirty tariff is put into place the govt must place the funds collected in escrow for 10 years after which they are paid back to the country that it was collected from WITH INTEREST. If no causal link between the tarrifs and emergency is found by the panel a 10x penalty is appllied to offset economic damage.
