USA vs Canada is one thing, USA against the rest of the world is something else.

Against all odds, Trump has made Trudeau look good.
Do you think everything that is going on behind the scenes has been reported? It’s not the world against the US. There are a lot of side deals going on right now that we haven’t even seen. It’s not as easy as oh Canada and Mexico are talking so they will team up and bring others along.

Sure, he's making deals with his mentor Putin, and other dictators while he turns his back on allies.

Of course, none of us on an escort review board knows what goes on in government circles.

But Trump has announced tariffs on Russia, Canada, Mexico, Denmark, EU, China, BRICS, and some south American nations.

That is the world.

We don't know what we don't know.
At the end of the day regardless of his side deals or tariffs or which country hurts more, his efforts to bring back manufacturing to the US will fail.
Those jobs are gone forever.

See my thread re the tariffs being clearly unconstitutional.

This is a dumb repeat of Trump attempting to overturn the 14th Amendment with an EO last week. He's completely incompetent and out of his depth.

In some ways, this is my dream coming true -- the amount of anti-USA sentiment we're seeing in Canada is growing stronger by the minute!

Fuck the Americunts!!!

As a Leafs fan, I used to think it was my duty to hate on the Ottawa Senators, but I gotta tell you, their fans did Canada so proud last night by BOOING the shitty US anthem when it was sung. Let's hope Leafs fans follow through, hopefully by not just booing the Shit Spangled Banner when it's sung, but also refusing to stand.

#FuckTheUSA #FuckTrump

Someone please tell me why Trudeau didn't place a tariff on ALL US imports right away? What's with the 21 day delay on some products?
Yes I know Trudeau is a soft candyass chickenshit, but the 21 day delay on some products makes no sense.

Trump says Canada has nothing the US needs so why place tariffs on products they don't need. He is just as stupid as Trudeau.

The short answer is "to give Canadian retailers time to prepare", but this is a fucking war and in war you go straight for the jugular of your enemy. And make no mistake, the US is our enemy.

There's already a negotiated deal in place.
Yes, it goes:

Trump and Justin meet. Trump cancels the tariffs and apologizes. Then Trump undoes his pants and drops his underwear and bends over that stupid, grandiose desk in the Oval Office. Then Justin takes off his belt and gives Trump a good, hard lesson the dumb old fuck won't quickly forget across Trump's bare, fat ass.

Then Melania sucks Justin's dick while Trump blubbers in the corner and rubs his sore, red ass.

Worst case scenario for Canada is a lot worse than worst case scenario for US. Here’s to Canada to win this trade war.

On a side note, this fool Trudeau is the one who wrecked your economy yet now you say oh “good speech” Trudeau! Fickle fickle crowd here.
Um, in case you haven't noticed it's not just Canada. He is literally starting a trade war with the world.

In the end he has a one seat advantage in the house, and wobbly 3 in the Senate. And that is what is going to stop this. About two weeks after this starts it will hit the supply chain in the USA. And then the lobbying on Congressmans will go off.

Trump apparently has not returned any of Trudeaus calls since becoming President. Not sure about the deals you are talking about.
It used to be called Nafta

After U.S. President Donald Trump took office in January 2017, he sought to replace NAFTA with a new agreement, beginning negotiations with Canada and Mexico. In September 2018, the United States, Mexico, and Canada reached an agreement to replace NAFTA with the United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement (USMCA), and all three countries had ratified it by March 2020. NAFTA remained in force until USMCA was implemented.[11] In April 2020, Canada and Mexico notified the U.S. that they were ready to implement the agreement.[12] The USMCA took effect on July 1, 2020, replacing NAFTA.

I think the GOP is so scared of Trump, they won't try and stop him.

And Mike Johnson can procedurally block any votes and is a Trump loyalist.

So tell us exactly what is going on and what side deals are going on? Did you take notes? How did you become an insider?

It’s simple business. Why would you be transparent on the hand you’ve been dealt and the people around the table who are secretly working with you.

As a man who made his money in Manhattan from everyone from politicians, businesses and probably the mob I would be very surprised if Trump doesn’t have a lot of side deals going on.

Placing it immediately may jack up our prices quicker.
You never know if this could get resolved.
And knowing our grocers, once they jack up prices, they are not bringing it back down even if there are no tariffs.
As for Canada having nothing the US needs, I call BS on that.
Evidenced by the fact that he tariffed oil only 10% lol.
