Does anyone else get harassed by fake bookings?

I went about a year and a half without having to require deposits.

I originally started out not asking for deposits, and then I had a rash of fake bookings and started asking for deposits.

Eventually I stopped, and then the fake bookings started all over again, and I find that when I accidentally accept one... There are several more to follow.

It's like once they figured out that you are naive enough to not request a deposit they keep seeing how many times they can screw you around.

It's funny though because I see people specifically saying that they do not not request deposits. But I couldn't even operate my business without requiring some proof.

What are they doing right and what am I doing wrong?

I already know one sex worker for example tried to fake book me and probably goes around fake booking other workers. I would never do that to another sex worker. I feel like that's just disgusting behavior


I know there's a lady in my area who acts like her s*** doesn't stink who has been doing that to several workers. She pretends to be successful and so busy, but goes to the lengths of fake booking the competition.

So I mean, what would be the suggestions for navigating this?

I request a small deposit or proof of cash and address. The cash isn't necessary, but even though I say that I do not accept e.Transfer people still try to pay me by eTransfer ( because of the hours that I work, e transfer doesn't work half of the time) i feel like requesting.The cash makes people admit that they either have cash, or they had no intentions of getting cash.

I still have people give me a hard time about showing proof of address. Normal people don't have an issue providing these things. I feel like.

It takes less than a minute out of their day to take a picture that I am requesting, but I don't even get to the point where I send the details of the photo. I am very flexible and very lenient.And all I want is some kind of proof that this is not a scammer, trying to send me to a fake location.

I don't know how other people are navigating this without any proof. People are trying to send me all over on the promise of a payout from a complete stranger.

I have too much of a life to sit around in a hotel room waiting around for people every day. That's cool for girls that don't really have much going on... But I have stuff to do lol

I feel like there's absolutely no risk in sending me a photo but I get so much resistance to a photo... They couldn't possibly be a real person. If i'm giving them the option of a deposit or a photo and they can't send a deposit... they immediately say they can't send a photo or they ignore the Request for a photo even though they don't know any of the details of what I'm asking for. I'm not asking for identification. I'm asking for what people probably have on hand and I am very flexible but... some people still act like i'm pulling teeth.

Anyway, I hope that makes sense. I have to head out somewhere quickly. And I just made this message briefly because someone was expecting me to travel over an hour on the promise that they're "a good person"

I've had clients.I've known for years.Rip me off for twenty dollars and never see me again. I've had people who I knew for years rip me off for more than that. I don't understand how a complete stranger to me thinks that we have some type of working relationship that I'm supposed to trust them because they said they were good people.

I use speech to text a lot and it either come put perfectly or spits out nonsense... So I hope most of that made sense. Punctuation, when you use speech to text is terrible, so I promise you, I don't actually type like this. Lol

Five years ago, If I wanted to book an Outcall with a girl in Toronto at a Hotel, usually the girl asks for the name of the Hotel and the room number and actually calls front desk to speak to me on the room phone.

Yeah, I hate to say it, but you need some way of weeding out bad calls like that. Deposit is probably the best way.

Even if you had an incall and could afford to sit around all day, if guys were to no show, that's money you could have made that you lost forever as you can't get the time back.

If you have no way of weeding out the flakes and the bad calls, then there is no point in doing this at all and you might as well quit the business and get a civilian job.

You should set strict restrictions and if clients do not like it then too bad. I've only ever seen 1 SP for an outcall to my place years ago and she wanted pictures which I did but was hesitant. It's usually a picture of your home number outside or a bill with your address and you can cover your full name. But she's reviewed on here so I took the chance. A deposit I'd consider based on reviews if the person wasn't a scammer especially since LL is full of them. A SP who has restrictions meeting clients usually is better. I've never dealt with you, but if I was some troll teenager or something it's not hard for folks to nowadays waste others time. And like you said your competition could be doing it too because they want to take your clients. Some ladies on here have great restrictions for first time clients for their incalls. Most times it's about your safety for incall and dealing with time wasters too. I've lurked Belleville on LL in the past, but just too far of a drive based on where I am, but other ladies on LL could be trolling you also and you don't know it the area seems to have quite a few ladies. If they eventually rip you off I hope you stop seeing them? Not sure how other ladies on here would handle that from a client or let even $20 less slide often. Some are firm with the donations up front. And you take it and put it somewhere safe. If a regular hands it later but gives less I'd say it's your call based on how you feel about that client (don't never mention something like that here if you do of course...lol).

How long have you been doing this? With stuff that has happened to you I think you should start firming things up. It's extremely scary out there for ladies like you along with a huge time & gas waste especially with where the price of gas sits now. You should just add rules and stick with them. If clients don't like it too bad. You'll find others. You have to ask yourself based on your bad experiences if it's even worth it to keep going the way you are.

I'm not a jerk, but I can easily mess with women online with a burner phone and waste time. I spoke to one SP years ago who even got a deposit once and showed up to a house but nobody would open the door. Could be people trolling and sometimes people online want to get revenge on someone so they'll send you to that person's house to stir things up and you'd have no clue like that family at the house of course. Hopefully you took the advice about how to check for texting apps. I use them the odd time I do this hobby, but I've also made exceptions for well reviewed SPs if they have an issue with those.

You should set the deposit to cover your gas to and back at least IMO for first time client. Take donations once you arrive no exceptions and remember it. Try to remember in your head "pay to play". A SP once told me that who wanted it first and it was my first time seeing her.

I don’t know if you don’t know how to check your PMs here but you wrote me asking how to check for text apps and I wrote you back. You have yet to look at the PM. This is where I would start. I can bet you that all of these times wasters and the competition in Belleville that is making these fake bookings, are indeed using a text app. This will stop at least half the bullshit you are dealing with.

I was going to also say to use an online service to check for text app phone numbers. You can also charge a $100 booking fee.

Please don't feel like you are the only SP this happens to. I used to have a regular SP who worked out of a hotel and several younger SPs from the same location made her life a living hell with fake bookings for a while out of jealousy.

Sadly this is nothing new. Usually happens to well established SPs (indy and agency) or well known/established SPs that go indy and done buy their jealous competitors and/or idiots just for fun.
Unfortunately this doesn't happen often enough to scammers who deserve it.
