You already have Skoob in the other thread saying Trump will fail on that promise. (Or maybe that it was one of those "don't listen to what he says, listen to what he means" things, where real Trump fans like Skoob knew the promise was always bullshit.)
that's skoob's opinion...if Trump's campaign won him the election behind the promise...why is it wrong when he starts delivering?

I didn't say it was.
Well, arresting people indiscriminately, including American citizens, and spending wild amounts of money to do it is wrong.
Imposing (or constantly threatening to impose) a police state in the US is making things worse.
I get that some people disagree.

exactly my point...some people might not like what the Trump administration is doing but this is what he was campaigning for?

Yes, even if many people insisted he was joking.

But you should acknowledge he never gave details, you should also expect push back from people who don't think the approach he is taking is a good one or what they think they voted for.

Look at where the push back is coming from...it's mostly democrats crying about it...if this is gonna be a disaster, who is to blame? Trump, his Congress and his cabinet....he has the votes to make his agenda happen...just like Joe Biden did...the only difference is, Trump is visible...Joe wasn't.

The deportation flights?
Or the raids?
Because people have been complaining about both.

if this is gonna be a disaster, who is to blame? Trump, his Congress and his cabinet....
Yes.
We agree.
No one is making him do this.

he has the votes to make his agenda happen...
He is also breaking a lot of laws and taking unconstitutional actions.
Now, he does have the votes on the Supreme Court to have the constitution re-interpreted in his favour, of course.

the only difference is, Trump is visible...Joe wasn't.
Biden wasn't show-boating the deportations as PR stunts, this is true.

"Wise council" like agreeing on hiding the mental state of the president for 4 years and then making him "step aside" and replacing him undemocratically with someone else to run for office?

Tell me how all of that worked without "loyalty".

I'll wait.
The Dems lost, but nothing was unconstitutional and they admitted defeat. Trump is far more insane than Biden ever was and we see the shitshow yesterday when he cancelled all federal grants to things like hospitals and school lunches, until a judge stepped in and overruled the cruel insanity.

Russ Vought's plans are pretty clear. Make federal workers miserable so they quit, use the army on protesters and workers who strike and eliminate all 'marxists'.

keep crying...Trump isn't even in his 20th day....i knew this day will come that your liberal tears will be displayed in hi def...
lol

I'm not crying at all. I think this is all hilarious, especially how so many of his supporters are finding out why you don't vote for the Leopard will eat your face party....And it is already spilling into Canada. I know a very pro-Trump dude who works at a small manufacturing plant in Oshawa that laid all its employees off in fear of the Trump tariffs. I think I'm firmly in the "told you so," camp...And everyday gets closer...

The Dems lied to you for 4 years until they couldn't any longer.

And not sure where you're getting your info from but I assume it's from an uninformed source.
Obviously this is more Democrat sabotage against progress so no surprise here.

The first directive from OMB came Monday night, directing federal agencies to "temporarily pause all activities related to obligation or disbursement of all Federal financial assistance, and other relevant agency activities that may be implicated by the executive orders, including, but not limited to, financial assistance for foreign aid, nongovernmental organizations, DEI, woke gender ideology, and the green new deal."
The memo said the pause would allow the administration to review which programs were "consistent" with President Donald Trump's agenda. Social Security, Medicare and direct payments to individuals were not supposed to be affected, but because the memo was so vaguely worded, it was not clear exactly which aid would be halted.

Being transparent is only showboating to the opposition...he's showing Americans he is going to do what he said he will do. Had he jot done it, the same people will be on here whining he's all talk

Liberals are always shocked when other party leaders actually do what they say they are going to do.

And the dude is undoubtedly still a Trump Supporter despite the fact that Trump just cost him his job.
