Well, arresting people indiscriminately, including American citizens, and spending wild amounts of money to do it is wrong.
Imposing (or constantly threatening to impose) a police state in the US is making things worse.

But you should acknowledge he never gave details, you should also expect push back from people who don't think the approach he is taking is a good one or what they think they voted for.
Look at where the push back is coming from...it's mostly democrats crying about it...if this is gonna be a disaster, who is to blame? Trump, his Congress and his cabinet....he has the votes to make his agenda happen...just like Joe Biden did...the only difference is, Trump is visible...Joe wasn't.

The Dems lost, but nothing was unconstitutional and they admitted defeat. Trump is far more insane than Biden ever was and we see the shitshow yesterday when he cancelled all federal grants to things like hospitals and school lunches, until a judge stepped in and overruled the cruel insanity.

I know a very pro-Trump dude who works at a small manufacturing plant in Oshawa that laid all its employees off in fear of the Trump tariffs.
