Provide some numbers on how many Americans get to meet these migrants that are making their lives so difficult if you disagree.
How bout you come here and help me set-up a mixer?
So seriously. here I'll give you some examples. I am relatively affluent and so are many of my friends. Many of us speak at least a little Spanish. Many of us don't live far from hispanic immigrant communities. We eat in those communities. Occasionally, we shop in those communities. Some of us employ hispanic immigrants legally and get to understand their concerns.
The reality is the less affluent you are the more likely your neighborhood will be proximate to immigrant communities.
I however have affluent friends who are progressive in their voting. Many of them almost never leave their immediate community. Perhaps they go downtown for a concert or business. Their only contact with immigrants might be the person who does their landscaping or cleans their house.
It's ridiculous for you or me to generalize. However, your generalizations insult the intelligence of Americans. They also seem to be stuck in some time warp around 1965.
PS- Your post doesn't make much sense because there is no way to quantify interactions.
