Canadian study claims smoking weed more harmful than tobacco

I started smoking weed after having brain surgery in 2019, and have decided after my next botox appointment to try and quit and stick to edibles exclusively. I'm hacking way too much and it's time. It spared me tons of headaches but it's not worth destroying my lungs much more.

It's also pricey and that's motivating me too.

Those who know know that this and many side effects of weed usage is cause by the combustion of the weed, not the weed itself, try doing this research on people that vape weed. Also tobacco is cancerigenous, this study and this affirmation that tobacco is less harmful than weed was paid by the tobacco industry :ROFLMAO:

Really, paid for by tobacco companies? Please show me the proof of this? Results were published in respected medical journals.
The truth is that both items can fuck up our lungs, just like fumes from kitchens where there is a lot of frying going on. Look up lung cancer rates in East Asian housewives who fry a lot of foods.

A reference, dealing with Chinese women who cook.

How would I prove that a study has been faked to create a narrative agaisnt cannabis usage? That is done behind our eyes, and has been for years and years around

Again, cite your references. Don’t just state conspiracy theories and waste everybody’s time.

Of course both kinds of hot smoke from burning plants is harmful to our health, and no one should make us believe that one of them isn't harmful or is less harmful in any way. Just don't smoke.

For so long, pot smokers (that don't add tobacco) have been bragging that it is much less harmful for your lungs than smoking tobacco.

Just like many pot smokers claim it is non-addictive but that is a different conversation.

I've never understood their reasoning.

Both create smoke that is inhaled into your lungs and if you ask me, I see pot smokers coughing a lot more than tobacco smokers both while smoking and while not.

I am currently listening to the pot smoker on a balcony somewhere above my condo coughing his lungs out. It is an 8am, 5pm, 9pm and midnight occurence. Like clockwork.

It is annoying but comical.
It would not surprise me if its the same as smoking raw tobacco. Processed tobacco cigarettes are probably more toxic as they add all kindas shit to the tobacco that is burned and then inhaled.

I read that it was about three times the carcinogen content. But, I lost that reference. One thing that was proven was testicular cancer in young male pot users.

Hmm Perhaps its because marijuana has more oil content and when you burn oil, all kinds of carcinogens are created. Pine oil, canola all complex hydrocarbons. Its not that different then putting a small amount of diesel in your cigarette. lol.

The weed today isn't the same from 2 decades ago which I never did back then. But I also know when I was doing it last year I could feel pain around my groin and head and this is from someone who smoked very little compared to most on here. I read up articles about that cause of the THC levels apparently. I've smoked once since this year and feel great. I'll have the odd CBD capsules now for IBS and it has like 0.001 THC. Most likely I'll smoke some later in the evening with the person I'm seeing if I wanna go a few rounds and feel tired out cause it'll help compared to early on in the day.

In my Uni days I smoked weed recreationally, and as "panty remover" on dates. Of course that weed was not the same weed as today.

At the same time I was a 20 to 30 cigarette a day smoker, which was definitely affecting my lungs and probably much more.

Anyways I quit both over 40 years ago.

For the past 2 years I've been eating one 5mg Indica THC gummy before bed as a sleep aid.

I won't smoke weed now as I'm afraid of the health hazards, and that it might tempt me to go back to smoking cigarettes.
