Its a hard topic as I'm writing this a girl got strangled minutes ago and forced to oral a guy. The thing is it's not the first time. He gets in and closes door and grabs her neck right away. doesnt donate of course and is violent. I know three girls in Ottawa who are the victims, I have his face photos too. The girl this morning was hit by him about 3 times. 2 times in her former apartment and today in a hotel. She closed her apartment because of him and 2 other guys who keep sneaking back in. any suggestions on how I, or we, can help her? reward perhaps? i got his pic and i have little value in money. Is this topic even allowed here? if its not allowed ill delete it immediately and find another way.

they need more than what we have, he uses a fake number each time. if someone knows him that would be gold. theyd actually do something with more detail. the cops actually do help girls. but need more info.
First, how she wants to handle this situation is her choice. When handling a situation like this it’s best to give the power back to the victim and give them as much support as possible either through going to the police or providing other resources.
It’s completely understandable if she chooses not to report and there should be no pressure or judgment on her on how she decides to proceed.

We have resources to support each other when a member of our community has been assaulted.
Even though this industry can sometimes feel isolating when you don’t have access or know how to find your community here in Ottawa, she is NOT alone.
I know sometimes it feels like we’re helpless to support others in these circumstances. We can’t undo the harm already caused. But if you want some real actionable advice:
Go buy her a Blink doorbell camera on Amazon, they’re roughly 60$ and 5$ a month to save the footage to a cloud drive.
Go install this for her so she can feel safe at home again (hopefully).
A doorbell camera is one of the better deterrents from people who want to do you harm. They have to think twice about their actions as soon as they approach your door.
It’s obviously not full proof. But in the event something ever happens again, she’s got that POS on camera.

very good advice. all girls need security and a friend close by that if no text returns they can come in a hurry. which happens to be a common practice.
shes considering using fake ads now. too many stalkers and repeat dangerous guys. shes always used real photos.
It’s good to have multiple safety nets.
The biggest one is being part of a SW community so they can have access to resources, knowledge is power.
And not to pass any judgement whatsoever. But this is why SWs screen their clients and why YOU ALL should support us in our efforts to stay safe! There is multiple ways in which you can screen while still protecting yourself as well.

Fake ads aren’t going to keep her safe, it’ll just hurt her business and create a false sense of security.
She needs community support.
There are ways she can continue working while also being safer going forward.
Tell her to reach out when or if she’s ready.

I have two of them. three girls have verified its him. and a few others in chatrooms confirm its him too. the photos are from last year and today she says hes beginning to age a little. reddish brown hair, 5'10" stocky/chubby strong hands, evil eyes. often wears mask or a hat to the door. gets in quick when door unlocks then slams it shut and grabs girls by neck.

Theyre being shared in chatrooms with 500 members in them, i thought terb might be able to help girls be safer too but yes i understand tos might not allow so i ask before i put
