I have been buying stuff only on Temu for a few months now.

I bought stuff like super great 5 t-shirt pack for 24$. And many other shit. Fuck it`s so inexpensive.

I found the same pair of shoes I bought for 21$ CDN at 79$ US on another website (via publicity from CNN website).

I bought a chef knife, iPhone cordless chargers, cast iron pan... Even soccer jersey! All of good quality and such low price. Only drawback is long delivery.

They will kill all commerce, even Amazon, with such prices!

How the fuck can they do it? Are they running at a loss to steal all our data or something?

They're cheap because they're a Chinese owned and based company. I believe they are indirectly controlled by the Chinese government so it's possible your personal data could be compromised.

For the very few things I buy which is quite rare anymore I look for deals closer to home even Amazon and not a fan of long shipping delays.

We have bought some hot tub oil absorb floater sponges from them that were cheaper than the US similar product, but were crap and fell apart in a few weeks of use.
Another buy, Makeup sponges though, my wife is satisfied.

If it is low tech, IMO 50% chance it may be suitable if TEMU sourced.

I would check to see if those chargers are actually UL or CSA approved. Lots of known issues with crappy no name chargers from China being fire hazards.

if you check products received its the same as what is sold on Amazon or other North American site.

Its the same shit! So it's not really a matter of being cheap rather it's just paying less.

Many folks use that along with Wish, Ali, etc. to buy in bulk and sell at a higher price hence why what you bought you seen on that site for much less. Usually it's faster shipping unless they have it shipped directly from Asia. It's really not that different than what stores do. But some of stuff like electronics isn't regulated and stuff so it could start a fire. I've used Aliexpress the odd time and didn't mind waiting a month. A lot of the cheap clothing is typically made with products that have harsh chemicals. It might be one of the reasons why people rocking extremely cheap clothing end up with skin conditions.

I grew up in Chinatown...one thing I can tell you about the chinese business strategy is they are mostly long term...they will live with 5c profit as long as you keep coming back for more this was back in the 80s...i'm sure it still applies today...Temu probably will earn a few cents per transaction but there's cheap labor, cheap packaging cheap materials and they can produce thousands off it...and you think it's cheap so you will keep buying...hook line sinker.

this...you have to keep an eye on what you're buying...I bought some fly tying hooks from Amazon (maxcatch) and a similar product from temu(different brand name) at a fraction of the price. the temu hooks were rusted after a month...

Damn, that's why I've got so much harsh down my pants! I thought the problem was due to little Tina but now I realize it was Temu!
