I don't know about T.O., but I did see the salt trucks working in Oakville around 5pm on the major routes as they expected the road to flash freeze.

Was expecting that. Took the car out early afternoon to get it up to operating temperature since I live downtown and don't drive much.
Got a free car wash with the hard rain and picked up two cases of beer.

I kinda miss the tungsten spiked tires I had back in the early 70's in Winnpeg.

They sure used to surprise any car that was close behind me on icy roads, though, if I had to stop quick.

I believe they became illegal due to the damage they were doing to paved roads...
