carney could be really good for Canada. Better than anyone else in the field - a leader with ideas and the experience you need to outmaneuver whatever the Americans are gonna throw at us. A dude with a real vision for the economy and making things suck a lot less. Pragmatic too.
@tml Ignatieff didn’t have anything near the relevant experience of carney. Carney ran two central banks of two G7 countries (Canada and UK) while Ignatieff was a professor who wrote novels (ok, some non-fiction too) and did some traditional media commentary shit.

As I've said before, we've had a carney in office already and don't need another one.

He hasn't come under the microscope yet.

But I do find it interesting the Liberal Party hiked the entrance fee to $350,000 for the leadership. It's almost like they want to rig it for only rich Elites to be able to run.

Yeah agreed - the whole entrance fee thing is messed up. The party is a big problem. Maybe carney would have a better chance as a greens or ndp candidate!

A well made point. How the fuck do you 'inherit' the position of Prime Minister. Didn't they just try that south of the border?
No, they didn't. They don't have Prime Ministers in the US. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

And nobody was ever "inheriting" Biden's presidency, by election or by any other means. Choosing a different candidate did nothing to affect his presidency. "Hens forth" you are wrong. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

How did that work out 100 million dollars later?
Your numbers are nowhere close to what the Dems actually spent on the election. You need to read more and learn.

Oh! Look who it is. That didn't take long. You strike me as someone that never keeps his word. Or maybe you too enjoy my witty posts. Oooorrrr. Maybe you have a crush on me. Not that there's anything wrong with that. 🌈 🤣🤣🤣
