I'm not defending anyone accused of rape, not even if he's POTUS.
Just pointing out that the stats don't make this out to be more than yet another general attack on Muslims, not a thread about rapists.

They wanted to focus on the "Muslim" raping the "poor white girl" part, that the actual contents of the article wasn't so important to highlight in the headline.
Which is why I mentioned that it is a tabloid.

I am sure you'd agree that the ethnicity or religion of the perpetrators or the victims is the least important in all of this.
UK isn't the only place this is happening. Germany and Nordic countries too. Over there, it's Syrian/Afghan/Somali gangs. If Canada doesn't have a high quality immigration standard like we used to (economic immigration), we would have these rape gangs here as well. For the time being, there's only white girl harassment at Canadian bars by drunk Punjabis but it could get bad if Govt aims to bring in more and more Afghan refugees. I read a while back Trudeau govt opened a consular office in Pakistan to speed up Afghan refugee intake because processing from Ottawa was too slow. Apparently some govts (Irish I think) also pay the Pakistani govt for Hotels etc overseas while the Afghans wait for their turn to be boarded into Ireland, Canada etc.

No idea why this is coming around again but Rotheringham was about 10 (?) years ago. It was obvious then that the authorities let the girls (not women) be raped and abused so they wouldn't seem 'racist'.

What happened was Elon Musk made a comment about increasing immigration and called US workers retarded, which pissed off the MAGA group as they voted against increasing immigrants.
To stop the wave of right-wing criticism, Musk started posting about UK rape scandals and basically caused an algorithm switch. Now everyone is talking about it.

If they were already here there would be arrests, charges, convictions like in Europe. In Canada the only thing I've heard of is mild harassment of CDN women by the newcomers. It's only allegations however, I haven't seen any evidence. It's just what some girls been talking about.
