I follow them? From where do you get your so called 'facts"?

Anyway, would take them over Fox Fake News any day!! 😁
Just for the record, I'd love to bang from the right, the first one in the flower dress, possibly the one in the yellow dress and the blonde on the opposite side. The other 3 I'd leave for Rod, God knows he needs to get laid.

I love that he stays on. I wish he could be the leader for the Liberals for the next 20+ years.

It's one thing to say it's his decision, but to think there is no one better than him is straight delusion. You could kick a soccer ball into the House of Commons and it would be better than Trudeau.

Jokes aside, last week revealed the respect of the Party resided on the side of Freeland.

But you're right I shouldn't complain too much. The longer Trudeau is sticks around the lower he sinks the party.
So tell me you politically savvy beast, who could take over from Justin and pull off a Pee Pee upset at this point?

Can't be trusted?
I was the one who said I was referring to threads and not posts. Simple correction that you still seem traumatized by. Remind me never to make a correction that you can't handle.
Mitchell shared a post by Trump directly related to the Trudeau government imploding. Perfectly on topic.
He didn't just start blabbering about Trump...you did.

You think the price of groceries and other goods increasing was caused by climate change and not carbon tax?
If that's what you believe then explain how the money collected in carbon tax directly addresses climate change mathematically...not theoretically. By your definition it should have improved the climate and not affected crops right?
Then explain how fuel cost is removed from the entire production & delivery chain and it's non-impact on the cost of goods such as groceries.

By the way, Trudeau ratcheted up the carbon tax starting in 2018. Ukraine war started 4 years later. Inflation was already increasing before then due to the carbon tax. So that argument doesn't hold water sorry.

btw where did Canada get all the money to send to Ukraine? Was a new tax increased to generate that money perhaps? Perhaps it accounts for part of the $20 billion they added to the deficit even though they promised it would be far less than that?
Listen scoob, you started with every posts, until I called you out on it. Then you changed it into every thread. That again is Bullshit. I did bring up Harper when it was relevant, but not in EVERY THREAD like you are alleging. Accept the fact that you are just throwing random allegations at everyone who does not agree with your rightie POV!!
OIC, now mitchell mentions Trump and it is all hunky dory with you, but if I do then shit hits the fan with you righties.
Again you alleged that I was the first to bring up Trump, and you got that simple fact WRONG once again, as it was mitchell!!
My post was Trump was relevant but like the rest of the righties, you cult followers cannot accept that simple fact!!

So 4.3 cents at the gasoline pumps when it was introduced in 2018 was the cause of inflation to you? But read and learn for once rather than spewing out the usual rightie conspiracy theories:

  • University of Calgary study
A study by University of Calgary professors Trevor Tombe and Jennifer Winter found that the carbon tax had a minimal impact on inflation in Canada from 2019 to 2024. The study found that prices increased by 19.3% over that time, but only 0.5% of that increase was due to carbon tax and other indirect taxes.

    [*]CEPR study
A study by CEPR found that carbon tax rates do not have a significant impact on inflation volatility.

    [*]European and Canadian data
Data from Europe and Canada shows that carbon taxes do not lead to aggregate inflation.

    [*]Research
Research has shown that carbon pricing is not a significant driver in the rising cost of living.

    [*]Statistics Canada
Statistics Canada tracks and reports on price changes that strip out the effect of indirect taxes. The data shows that indirect taxes, including carbon taxes, have caused overall consumer prices to be only 0.6% higher in October 2023 than they were in January 2015.

    [*]University of Calgary professors
University of Calgary professors Trevor Tombe and Jennifer Winter concluded that "carbon pricing is definitively not to blame for affordability challenges".
The credits from the Federal Govt. to offset the Carbon Taxes benefited more than 80% of Canadians!!
The $20 billion was for the compensation to the Indigenous People for their court settlement:

First Nations Child and Family Services, Jordan's Principle, and Trout Class Settlement Agreement
This $23.3 billion settlement was reached in April 2023 to compensate First Nations children and families for harm caused by the government's actions. The settlement addresses a number of issues, including children removed from their homes, children affected by the government's definition of Jordan's Principle, and children who did not receive essential services.

You're right Jimi! You would be wearing a mask and getting all your vaccines or be deported ASAP if I were in charge. Dammit, what a dream! Squeeze for UR aka Ultimate Ruler! PM would not be enough for me!
Good luck with that lil fella. :ROFLMAO: My statement was for hypothetical purposes only in order to illustrate that a shaved ape could do a better job than our current 'less than' Prime Minister. Even if you made it into office The Don would cook your goose in record time. You wouldn't last a day....🤷‍♂️

Since you're asking, 180 seats would be nice. It would be better than a duo with two hotties to listen to all the radicals whine and bitch. OH MAN, I'm getting a woody just thinking about it.

As expected. When hit with a real question, you go off into fantasy world.

Really then why did they promise only 6 months ago it would be $20 billion less?

You're being played.

How many Finance Ministers have they gone through now?
