Yes they quoted an member of Singh's political party. You really believe that's what happened. Either you're trolling or you really are ignorant. Jagmeet told him to say that. Ask yourself this question. Would you be dumb enough to donate $10,000 to a cause without doing any investigating into what it is and who is organizing it. Either way Jagmeet's brother in law was against the mandates and lockdowns.

Ontario rejected Sharia religious courts back in 2005. It's a good thing this came about before the current culture of progressive chest beating or else religious courts would be just as widespread here.

Essentially, the reason being; "We will not tolerate the interference of religion in our justice system." Rightfully so.

The downside? Ontario also eliminated excisting Catholic and Jewish courts tribunals as a result. Ontario has allowed Catholic and Jewish faith-based tribunals to settle family law matters on a voluntary basis since 1991.

However, if you think Western-culture based Catholic & Jewish courts are equivalent to Sharia, I have some swamp land to sell you.
