Since when has city garbage collectors ever got the trash from commercial high rises and from dumpsters?
On the other hand there must be some sort of buzzer, etc that goes off in the cab when you start driving around with the forks up that must have not been working or willingly ignored.

Right, because we all know public sector employees do a much better job. And by "better job" I mean, they're better at ripping off taxpayers. At least that's what the Auditor General found.

What happened here was driver error, simple as that. Driver is an idiot and deserves to be fired.

What happened in the intersection is the driver fucked up. Not sure what that has to do with the company in general. At least the employees aren't ripping off taxpayers like the city workers are.
But yes, sounds like there's some corruption. To find more of that, all you have to do is look at what's going on with the BC and Montreal port authority.
What's happening is that a corruptly nurtured company is leading to a fucked up company culture that is fucking up taxpayers.
Or maybe if you scour and scrutinize the photos long and hard enough you can find a "garbage truck with its arms holding up a dumpster bin high up in the air' blind spot at the SE intersection along King St. W. and Spadina Rd.

Nope. This is what happens when the driver is not concentrating on the task at hand.
In the other hand I see GFL drivers picking up loose and stray garbage/recycling in windy days and such. Making sure bins are upright.
