The fact is that the majority of the science community believes that the virus emerged from the wet markets as other viruses have in the past. It is only the right-wing groups trying to blame it on the lab to further go after Fauci and health organizations. It's disgusting yet you also fall for it hook line and sinker. Fauci, a professional who served for many presidents of all stripes yet entered the Trump admin and now is painted like a criminal because he dared go against the Big Mac eating orange-tinted shitstain.
The majority of the community works for Big Pharma or universities who receives grants from Big apharma. The rest work for government or recieve grants from government. It's a career ender to whistle blow this one. And useless as it would get buried.

As for Fauci....look above for payments to him and others in return for grants. Garnered from FOI requests. It's takes nothing away from the majority of the good work to admit they will protect their golden goose when they do bad work. That is the very nature of power.

You aren't that naive. But your partisan blinders are up. It's not about Trump. It's common sense to ask the question of whether the Wuhan Covid lab doing gain of function research having been sited more than once for shoddy practices and hiring unqualified people was the origin of an outbreak.

The above articles show this to be the case. Employees of the lab appear to be patient zero. To not be skeptical of the wet market theory is just plain ridiculous

Well as you saw the Biden Administration shut down funding for non compliance......

Think about it. In 2017 and 2018, and what probably would have been 2019 the Lab was hit with non compliance reviews. Under the TRUMP admin. And Fauci did nothing. Outbreak hits.

The continued funding of gain of function research was so important that NOT BLAMING TRUMP was the only option in an election year. What would public reaction have been? Ask that question. Follow the money. It would have ended funding. And China would have gotten killed in world opinion. Other governments funding would have come under fire. To the point of mass world instability.

This is imo a case where the scientific community, in what some would do for cash, others for more altruistic reasons, others for what they would call the greater good, hid the truth, or are just going along to get along. It certainly isn't the first time the authorities lied to the public. And a professional communities protected its own.

I could have taken the truth, you as well, but the majority of the populace? Torches and pitchforks.

What do you have against Gain of Function research but before you answer, educate yourself a bit on it and try not to spin and deflect

I posted them. The US government inspected them and found them lacking. Fauci did nothing about it.
Let's analyze the nonsense and bullshit you posted.

The National Review, of course and as they claim themselves. Yet you take it as fact when the reality is, it's just a smear campaign by the right.

"Did Collins and Fauci earn these royalties from work performed before their government service or as bench researchers? Are they partial patent owners? If so, what did they contribute to the product’s development? If they were rewarded for acting as administrators and not researchers, is it akin to a kickback?"

National Review is an American conservative[4] editorial magazine, focusing on news and commentary pieces on political, social, and cultural affairs. The magazine was founded by William F. Buckley Jr. in 1955.

VOA, a more nonpartisan source but lets actually read it

In the more than four months since China reported an outbreak of viral pneumonia in Hubei province, the coronavirus has raced to nearly every corner of the world, but there are still no firm answers as to where it all began.

Is it merely coincidence? Or did the lab play a more substantial role in the outbreak? Without firm evidence, speculation has filled the void. Here’s what we know.

However, intel sources told VOA that the U.S. intelligence community “has not collectively agreed on any one theory” for the origin of the coronavirus.

So once again, you cannot come out and say YES BEYONG A SHADOW of a doubt if was from a lab because when you do, you sound foolish. Is it possible, perhaps but let's leave that to the experts to figure it out, not just shmos who believe they know better than everyone else.

Nonsense coming from Republican lead investigations, total nonsense and bullshit to bolster their cult leader's theories.

A lab leak was once dismissed by many as a conspiracy theory. But the idea is gaining traction, even as evidence builds that the virus emerged from a market.
Yes of course. Let's believe everything coming from MSNBC ABC and CNN cause they are so credible

Because investigations were shut down, evidence disappeared, and witnesses silenced.

No, let's believe a lying POS President Elect followed by Fox News who paid 800M for lying which would have been more if they hadn't sheepishly settled. SO YEAH I will trust MSNBC, ABC and CNN a hell of a lot more over your echo chamber.

No proof it came from a bat either but you have no issue with them feeding us that crap.
If you read my post I said anything is possible but so far the science is the wet market as the culprit yet you are convinced and will happily scream it from the rooftops it was the lab because you are the expert but the problem is, "only in our own mind".

Researchers in China, under government scrutiny, have been investigating since last January. This month, a World Health Organization delegation of scientists from 10 nations finally was allowed in the country to explore the origins of the virus.

“This is important not just for COVID-19 but for the future of global health security and to manage emerging disease threats with pandemic potential,” Tedros Ghebreyesus, WHO’s director-general, said after the team left for China.

It’s not clear how much evidence will remain a year later or what the team will be able to learn. The Wuhan fish market, seen as a likely breeding ground for the virus, has been scrubbed and shuttered."

Of course, how convenient, not because they were a useless witch hunt?

You have claimed you agree with the vax, and agree COVID was real yet you want Fauci hunted for merely doing his job, hmmmmmm.

Will you be jumping up and down if Trump doesn't bring down groceries, takes away the polio vax and lets Putin get away with whatever his Russian heart desires or will you spin and weave as you usually do to protect the deplorable?
