The world leaders respect Trudeau far more than they do with that maniac called Trump.
The only ones that hate Trudeau are the autocrats that do not agree with the true democracy that Canada is all about.
Of course the ones like Orban, Putin, Xi, Jong Un, and other similar leaders will be welcoming Trump back as he will be the 2nd most "strongest person" in the world.

Trudeau had any chance. Trump's guards had them
under watch at Mar-a-Lago. Trudeau can visit Trump
again after 2025 as a civvy to pull off Kevin Costner's
feat in 'Revenge' (1990). That will make him a hero.
Trudeau's Mar-a-Lago trip was actually worse than a waste
of his time. And Trump would not have belittled Canada and
its PM the way he did if he understood the North American
energy market and its outlook. On the surface of it Canada's
economy is hopelessly dependent on the U.S. because of
its poorly diversified export business to its neighbor. Trump
probably thought Canada can be easily kicked around now that
the U.S. has attained energy independence after years of
reliance on crude oil imports from outside North America.
Neither Trump or Trudeau knows shit about how potentially
precarious energy supply in the U.S. could turn in the immediate
future. Trump is just bluffing. If I were Trudeau I would cut back
oil supply to the U.S. in retaliation of his tariff threat not travelling
to Mar-a-Lago before Jan 20 to kiss his ass.
I did accept Trudeau to be the leader of my country 3 times in a state of
grace like those who voted for Clinton in 2016 and Harris 2024.

Trudeau was only voted into power 2 times, the 3rd time he needed to build a coalition with the opposition. I don't see that as the voters voting him in, and over 2/3 of the voters would have preferred a different outcome. And of course the NDP who will never have more power, were happy to accommodate and have some of their policies implemented to the dissatisfaction of the voters, as only 16% were interested in any of those policies. Time for a change and it will happen, the sooner the better. Time for a carbon tax election!

There may be a major uprising against the US if Donnie dump continues his bullying. Western Europe, Canada Mexico and South America could form a pact strong enough to destroy the US.
