She's actually very bright. Compare her questioning people v republican congresspeople. She is significantly better prepared. Fox is afraid of her thus the nonstop mockery.

By 2028 Cortez will have lost her youthful glow and will have turned into a middle-aged, short, fat, Latina with a rich history of radical leftist politics. Nobody will want to touch her, literally and figuratively.
People forget the Democrats tried to unleash AOC on Trump during his first term and he easily swatted her away, labelling her and three other progressive females as "The Squad".

She isn't very bright but she speaks well without a script. That's where she differs from Harris. Putting AOC up against the likes of Vance or DeSantis in a debate would be the nail in the coffin for the Un Democrats.
If the Democrats want to win in 2028, they need to nominate a charismatic southern Democrat who can win the South and maintain the north east. Basically a centre (slightly) left candidate cut from the same wood as Bill Clinton.

He's a Progressive and I have strong doubts that he even won AZ Senate seat legitimately. There will be a DOJ investigation forthcoming. Nonetheless, I doubt he will be the nominee in 2028.
