Did you read the article til the end???

If you did you would have seen this. What else would you like to see Justin do?? Stand there with an AK47 American style picking off immigrants??

"Things are likely to become more difficult soon. Veteran immigration official Tom Homan, who will be in charge of the country's borders following Trump's inauguration in January, has said that the northern border with Canada is a priority because illegal migration in the area is a “huge national security issue”."

The first thing Trudeau needs to do is end the temporary foreign worker program completely.
Businesses in Canada are abusing the program and bringing in low wage workers and undercutting salaries adding to economic crisis.
And cut the degree mills student visas.
Low wage workers who come here are desperate and possibly migrate down south for better opportunities.
The liberals have mismanaged immigration leading to this.

Low-wage temp workers and Overcharging international student is basically Justin's whole economic model though.

Are you sure it hasn't been Doug gleefully overcharging international students?

You really are blinded by Justin Hate. When your hemorrhoids flare up do you scream FUCKING TRUDEAU

Doug for sets tuition fees across Canada? Will you blame Ford for the cost of books too?

In reality though, Ford's government actually added to spending to help stabilize Tuition.

No matter how you want to spin this, you can't charge someone that isn't given a visa to come here. When Trudeau talks about Bad Actors in the system, He's talking about himself. And yes, even when I stub my toe I yell F* Trudeau. He's is the equivalent to a devil at this point.

The whole thing about the temporary foreign workers and foreign students thing is not directly Trudeau's fault. I mean, on paper, they are good policies. BUT....businesses and educational institutions exploited it. For example, there is a college in PEI that recruited Indian students extensively, to the point where something like 45% of students were foreigners. The benefit is they can charge international student fees, which are at least double (sometimes triple) domestic tuition. Anecdotally, I heard one Conestoga College did significant recruiting in India and built up a massive fund by feeding off these higher fees...

And now....with the removal or trimming of these students, universities and colleges are cutting programs. Sheridan just announced it would close 40 courses!!

On the temporary foreign workers front, it was never designed for places like Tim Hortons. The original idea was to allow places that needed seasonal workers, like fruit pickers or farm hands during the summer months. They were supposed to come and go as needed. It was expanded to included places that faced labour shortages (like, say, the oil fields in Alberta). Somewhere along the lines, fast food restaurants co-opted the program and exploited it.

Now, the government is going to kick out those who's Visa's have expired, and they think sneaking into the US is a better idea....

The realty here is that illegal immigration from Canada into the US is tiny fraction compared to the southern border. In face, until recently, we we're seeing more try to come to Canada from the US. I also think this could grow, as more illegals in the US push on to Canada to avoid deportation.

If you look at the numbers he is not cutting enough.
It is still 1.1M in 2025, 1M in 2026 and about 950K in 2027.
I think it will be good to completely terminate the program and focus on highly skilled permanent immigration.
Cut down immigration from >1M to about 400K, but highly skilled immigrants.
CBC reports that PeePee's leadership campaign was aided by India because they were worried that Brown was too popular and sympathetic to Sikhs.
Wonder how Brown would have played against the immigration issue?

Businesses have been abusing and asking for more temporary foreign workers, they get them as almost indentured workers.

But universities have been screwed over for a long time, certainly in Ontario. They have not had funding increases, Ontario has banned tuition increases and they were told to rely in international students. Now they are really screwed and massive programming cuts are happening all across Ontario schools.
