Israel left Gaza in 2005, Hamas took over in 2006 and all they did since was dig tunnels and find ways to destroy Israel plannin terrorist attacks
They just turned Gaza into an open air prison or concentration camp.

Yes, if the Hamas agreed to the ceasefire, Israel would be obliged to do what they agreed to but HAMAS REFUSED so there was no ceasefire.
